レジスタンスは、2009 年から 2011 年にかけてのレジスタンス ツアーのほぼすべての日程で演奏され、ツアーのライブの定番となりました。日程によっては、イントロが延長され、マットがダブルネック・ギターを使って伴奏をすることもあった。2012 年から 2013 年の The 2nd Law ツアーでは定期的に演奏され、2015 年から 2016 年の Drones World Tour では定期的に演奏されました。2017年を通じてかなり定期的に出演を続けたが、2018年半ばに活動を休止し、2019年のSimulation Theory World Tourではまったく出演しなかった。

レジスタンスは、ウィル・オブ・ザ・ピープル・ワールド・ツアー中の2023年2月にセットリストに復帰し、アリーナとスタジアムの両方のショーに年間を通して定期的に出演しました。このツアー中のパフォーマンスでは、マットはツアーメンバーのダン・ランカスターとギターの役割を分担します。

Resistance played on nearly every date on the Resistance tour from 2009 to 2011, becoming a live staple on the tour. Depending on the dates, the intro would be extended, and Matt would sometimes accompany him on a double-neck guitar. It was a regular performer on The 2nd Law Tour in 2012-2013 and the Drones World Tour in 2015-2016. Although he continued to perform fairly regularly throughout 2017, he went on hiatus in mid-2018, and did not appear at all on the 2019 Simulation Theory World Tour.

Resistance returned to the setlist in February 2023 during the Will of the People World Tour, and appeared regularly throughout the year at both arena and stadium shows. For performances during this tour, Matt will share guitar duties with touring member Dan Lancaster.
