apologize：　謝罪する

the way＋文
関係副詞を使う時、関係副詞か先行詞のどちらかが省略されることがあります。

This is the place where I would play in my childhood.
（ここが私が子どもの頃よく遊んだ場所です。）
⇒　This is the place I would play in my childhood.
または　This is where I would play in my childhood.

I remember the time when I met her for the first time.
（私は、初めて彼女に会った時のことを覚えています。）
⇒　I remember the time I met her for the first time.
または　I remember when I met her for the first time.

This is the reason why I was very hungry.
（これが、私がとてもお腹が空いていた理由です。）
⇒　This is the reason I was very hungry.
または　This is why I was very hungry.

ところが「how」の場合はちょっと特殊です。
先行詞が「the way」の場合、「the way」か「how」のどちらかを必ず省略しなければなりません。
This is how I found the fact.
（私はこうやってその事実を見つけました。）
または　This is the way I found the fact.

「今日の英語」では、「The way he apologize」（彼の謝り方）となっています。
これは「how he apologize」と書き換えることもできます。

なお「今日の英語」は文になっていません。
また、本来は「apologizes」と三単現の「s」がつくのが普通です。
