(1 Peter 1:16) But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct.　聖書に、「わたしが聖なる者であるから、あなたがたも聖なる者になるべきである」と書いてあるからである。(第一ペテロ１：１６）

In Hebrews 3:1, the Apostle Paul called all believers holy brethren. 

ヘブル3:1で、使徒パウロはすべての信者を聖なる兄弟と呼びました。

This is our real nature in Christ. We are holy. 

これがキリストにある私たちの本性です。私たちは聖なる者です。

 But, a lot of people who profess to be Christians aren’t living this life they have been called into.

しかし、クリスチャンであることを公言している多くの人々は、召されたこの人生を生きていないのです。

 This is the reason why Apostle Peter admonished the believers in his day to live a holy life. 

使徒ペテロが当時の信者たちに聖なる生活をするように諭したのはこのためです。

Today, the Holy Spirit is reminding us to live a pure and holy life. 

今日、聖霊は私たちに純粋で聖なる生活をするようにと注意しています。

The word translated holy in our theme scripture means saintly, physically pure, and morally blameless.

このテーマの聖句で「聖」と訳されている言葉は、聖なるもの、肉体的に純粋なもの、道徳的に汚れのないもの、という意味です。

 By extension, it means demonstrating the character of God in your daily attitude. 

つまり、日々の生活の中で、神様のご性質を示すことを意味します。

As a Christian, you should not be the one causing problems wherever you find yourself. 

クリスチャンとして、どこにいても問題を起こすような人であってはなりません。

Decide from today that you will go only in the way of the Lord. 

今日から、主の道だけを行くことを決めましょう。

Do you know one of the ways of preserving the grace and anointing of the Holy Ghost on you is by living a holy life?

あなたの上にある聖霊の恵みと油注ぎを保つ方法の一つは、聖なる生活を送ることだということを知っていますか？

 In order to preserve the grace and anointing of the Holy Ghost in your life, live a life of piety. Halleluyah!

あなたの人生に聖霊の恵みと油注ぎを保つために、敬虔な生活を送りなさい。ハレルヤ!

Activity: Spend time in prayer and fellowship with the Spirit of God. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you live a life of piety from today.

Confession: The God I serve is holy therefore I am holy. This holiness is seen in my character. I am saintly, physically pure, morally blameless, and spiritual. As I live my life this way, the anointing and grace of God on me keep increasing every day. Halleluyah!
