プルリルのサイエンス
今日わたしは学校の大きなプロジェクト、I-search、の為にリサーチしていました。
私はI-searchでクラゲのトピックを調べることにしました。
ライタースコーチさんは、私の”タイプ”のセクションにもっとインフォーメーションが必要だと言ってました。
なのでわたしはリサーチしていました。
Invertebrate の中の Cnidarians には４っつのクラスがあって（Hydrozoans, scyphozoa, Anthozoa, Cubozoa）その中のScyphozoaのはStauromedusae、Coronatae、Semaeostomae、とRhizostomaeのオーダーでできてることを知りました。
私は更に最後のオーダー、Rhizostomaeのことをもっとリサーチしていました。
すると
"In these jellyfish the frilly projections (oral arms) that extend down from the underside of the body are fused, obliterating the mouth and forming a spongy area used in filter feeding. Marginal tentacles are lacking, and the gelatinous bell is firm and warty. In species whose life cycles are known, there is a typical benthic (bottom-dwelling) scyphistoma stage. Most members of the order are vigorous swimmers."
と書いていました！！！
RhizostomaeはTentaclesがないって書いていました。
そしてひらひらなOral Armsを持ってると書いていました。
プルリルみたいだ！と思いました。
そしてもっと読んでいくとプルリルも”くらげ”というキャタゴリーに入ることがわかりました。
他の”くらげ”のキャタゴリーに入らないならきっとRhizostomaeの一種だ！！！！
と気づきました。
なのできっとプルリルはRhizostomaeオーダーのくらげです。
*今日もまたリサーチしていました。
そしてBritannicaのこのArticleを読み直してたらRhizostomaeは普通Oral armsがつながっていると書いていました！
絶対プルリルはRhizostomaeのオーダーに入ると思います。
