#31   evil flower

Saturday morning, a beautiful day. 
Since she has no outpatient services,
YURI is relaxing on Hospital roof garden.

On the other side of JR Chuo Line,
medical college campus buildings rise,
whereas on this side preparation schools
compete for the highest peak.

YURI had a light brunch in Hosital, 
got a can of tea at the vending machine,
and seated herself on the bench.

In the roof garden is a small flowerbed
where a lot of flowers of season are planted.
In the blooming flowers of various colors
is a deep red flower standing out.

(What's the flower?)
The flower charms her with its smell.
(What a smell!)
On smelling it, she loses consciousness.

As is usual with Saturday,
there was almost nobody in the garden,
so it was late that she was found lying.

Transported to a hospital room in a hurry,
and laid sleeping on the bed as a patient, 
YURI is surrounded by doctors and the Youth.
But suddenly, she opens her eyes and gets up.

"What happened to me? 
Just remember smelling a flower
at the flowerbed, roof garden." YURI

"Just anemia, that's poverty of blood.
But better have some rest for a while." Doctor

She looks well as if nothing had happened.

"MOROBOSHI kun,
will you take me anywhere for a change?"

"Eh?  Are you OK now?"

"Of course, OK."

She and he have decided to go to TDL.
This is his first visit there,
but it could not better than being with her.

Getting out of highway and half around ramp, 
they go through parking gate.
Entrance to World Bazaar, walk clockwise,
seeing Cinderella Castle at the center.

Pirates of Caribbean to Jungle Cruise.

Crunching churros from a vendor,
stand in line for Big Thunder Mountain.
Have snacks at Splash Mountain terrace.
Small World to Honey Hunt, 
MOROBOSHI gets extremely high score
at Buzz Lightyear ride.

"Excellent, MOROBOSHI kun."

Space Mountain under maintenance, 
sudden shower prevents the parade.
Both soaked into the skin, but  
YURI keeps laughing and smiling
with hair and clothes wet
like an innocent girl playing in the rain.
She looks like goddess of beauty,
he thinks. 

She and he are walking 
not at all hand in hand but just side by side.
Nevertheless,
TDL is literally his dream land.

He really wishes he could stop time.

Right before the closing time
the parking is necessarily crowded, 
so get out a little earlier.

MOROBOSHI likes YURI very much,
but he is always calm
for a reason probably you know.

The parking is so large 
that you sometimes forget
where you parked a car.

"Goofy 2." YURI
"What's goofy?"
"Parking character.
You parked at Goofy 2 area"

Certainly there it is.
He and she get on Beetle.
When he holds a shift lever, 
her right hand holds him by the left arm.
She leans against him.
His heart is unusually beating fast.

One moment, his eyes meet hers.
Reflectively he looks away,
when he hears her voice calls him.
"MOROBOSHI kun."

When their eyes meet again,  
YURI closes her eyes and faces up right to him.
Her left hand softly touches back of his neck,
her face approaching his so slowly.

A moment before her rips reaches him, MOROBOSHI gets out of the car, 
feeling kind of difference.

He finds an edged tool in her right hand.
She attacks him
as if Venus had turned into Satan.
He gives a little shock to her, 
making her asleep.

Beetle transports her and him to Hospital
in a hurry, in the hard rain,
which becomes harder and harder.

YURI has a thorough examination.
As a result, there seems to be an alien matter,
or a foreign material in her windpipe,
through which air travels to lungs.

The analysis of her MRI images shows
it is literally an extraterrestrial microbe.
Doctors unanimously say
it is impossible with current medicine
to remove the microorganism,
which has already been rooted 
so deeply and widely as cancer cell.

2:00 a.m., when a visiting nurse gets out,
She and he are alone with each other.
At last, MOROBOSHI has prepared
to deal with the challenge:
to get rid of alien virus DALLIE
with his supernatural power.

Any small mistake he makes would kill her.
(A nurse visits again two hous later.
My time challenge to the unkown.)

Young man with red glasses closes eyes,
enhancing concentration.
Suddenly the image inside her body
has come into his brains,
which means that he is inside her.

He finds the alien virus soon,
eight long legs of which are rooted
deeply into vessels and nerves.

He concentrates further and further,
and BEAM burns off eight legs one by one
as carefully but as rapidly as he can.

One hour has passed
since his challenge began.
There are three legs left.

The more tired he gets
the harder he should have found it
to concentrate, but he does not.
He can hold on.

Another thirty minutes have passed,
when all the legs have been cut off.
But no-leg DALLIE starts moving quickly,
crawling toward her heart by way of vessels.

(Mistake makes end, YURI san.)

His concentration to the utmost
enables his last BEAM 
to hit the center of alien's small head.

(Made it!)

Exhausting all his energy,
MOROBOSHI falls down to the floor.

Then there is something weird
approaching to the room.
Opening the door, green creepers crawl
on the floor into the room first.
Next, the alien red flower, ARTERIC appears.
Spreading its petals open,
it approaches and tries to attack MOROBOSHI.

The moment,
all the red petals have scattered.
Some scalpels, or surgical knives,
cut up the flower into parts,
which were placed by the bed.
When YURI woke up and understood everything,
she threw accurately at the target.

The flower-shaped alien
tried to elimimate SEVEN,
who prevented it from INVADE,
by manipulating YURI with DALLIE.

YURI called the Youth,
and took red glasses off
MOROBOSHI asleep.

"I had a dream.
We went to TDR together.
Raining, but I was happy.
Very happy."

It was still drizzling.
Until the Youth members arrived,
she had been holding the young sleeper tight
on the floor for a long time.
