Right 21 °　

What is dorsiflexion?

As shown in the figure above, the angle at which the toes are raised is 15 °.

Congenital clubfoot is a disease with recurrence.

The ankle may become stiff and the dorsiflexion angle may not increase.

Since it is congenital, the ankles are facing inward immediately after birth.

For my son, I have been treating babies and nurseries such as casts and orthoses.

It depends on the person, but when you are in elementary school, you will have to put insoles and sole plates to live.

We do not actively rehabilitate.

My job I am a physiotherapist whose job is rehabilitation.

Therefore, every day my son can be rehabilitated to soften his ankles.

Perhaps his son is a child with clubfoot and is doing the best rehabilitation in the world.

First of all, I would like to convey this information to the parents of children with congenital clubfoot.

And I want to reduce the number of children who have recurrent clubfoot.

I don't know if my son will come back again in the future.

However, as a parent, I want to do everything I can do as a physiotherapist.

And I also think that it would be good for some child by transmitting it.

The menu I'm thinking about for my son is updated every day.

I don't know if it's all suitable for children, but I think it's best to have them try it once, and if the pain becomes stronger, they can go to another menu.

This is not only clubfoot, but also those with stiff ankles, such as those who cannot crouch and crouch (sonkyo) and fall back, may have stiff ankles.

The reference angle for ankle dorsiflexion is 20 °.

Please measure it once.

You may want to go to a child with a stiff ankle.

I will write about the menu I am working on to soften my son's ankles. We do trial and error every day.
