You can use REALITY in many ways, such as making friends with many people, having dreams and goals that you never had before, or furthering your hobbies.
And one of the ways that you can enjoy REALITY is the "events". 
By participating in events you can meet new friends, support others or receive support, and create new memories and experiences that will definitely be a part of your history.
Check out some information that will help you understand better the events in this issue of "How to REALITY"!
We hope this article will be of some help to you, including answers to the questions we often receive from those who enjoy live-streaming.

What are the events?

REALITY offers a wide variety of events in terms of frequency and rewards.
When you stream while participating in an event, the gifts given by viewers during your stream will be added as “score points”, and you can earn event rewards according to your score.
Events include those that offer avatar items (such as wallpaper to use while streaming) as rewards, as well as events to be featured in real-life ads, and more.

For the participants, who are passionate about the event in order to achieve their own goals, and for the viewers, who enthusiastically support them, the event is a chance to deepen their bond and get to know each other better!

Types of Events

Let's check out an introduction to the different types of events and their respective characteristics!
There are two types of events: "ranking events" and "score achievement events".

■Ranking Events

As the name suggests, the event ranks the "event scores" collected and the users with the highest scores receive awards and rewards.

■Score Achievement Events

This is an event where you will always receive rewards for accumulating a certain number of event scores.
Since there is no need to compete with other users for rankings, this event is recommended for those who wish to proceed with the event at their own pace!

How to participate in the events

■ How to join the events

Events can be joined from around 10 days prior to the event from the "Scheduled Events" tab on the event list.
※You cannot participate in more than one event at the same time.

① Find the event you want to join from the list of events and tap the banner

② Tap the “Enter” button to join the event!

■ About the Rank limitations

You are able to participate in events corresponding to your own rank.
If your rank changes and falls outside the rank criteria for the event you applied for after pressing the “Enter” button during the application period, your participation in the event will be based on the rank you had at the time of application.
Example:
If you apply for a Rank B exclusive event while being in Rank B, and then your rank drops to Rank C before the event starts: you will still participate at Rank B.
If you apply for a Rank C exclusive event while being in Rank C, and then your rank increases to Rank B before the event starts: you will still participate at Rank C.
※You cannot join events that are outside of your eligible rank.

■ About canceling your participation in an event

Actually, we get a lot of inquiries about this, but once you participate in an event, you cannot cancel your participation in that event.
However, it is possible to withdraw from an event you have applied for or are participating in and reapply for another event.
If you find that you have applied to the wrong event or want to participate in a different event, please click the "Apply" button on the page of the new event you want to participate in. You will be switched from the event you originally applied for to the new event you have applied for.
⚠️If you change the event you are participating in during the event period, the event score you have collected so far will be reset. Please note that your event score will start from 0 points.
⚠️If you wish to participate again in an event you once declined, please go to the event page and click the "Enter" button again.
⚠️Please note that you will not be able to participate again in events in which you will be grouped together to compete for rankings.

What is the Event Score?

The Event Score is the total value of gifts given by viewers during your stream while you are participating in an event.
The final number of points in the Event Score determines whether or not you will receive the rewards.
※Event scores are managed on a per-event basis, and it's not possible to carry over event scores to different events.
The event score is calculated differently depending on the type of gift given.

※Please note that if your account is not linked to any social media, email, or phone number in your Profile > Account menu, your points will not count as Event Score for the streamers.

What are the gifts?

In REALITY, you can give gifts to the streamer you are watching, and the gifts will appear on the screen to liven up the stream!
When you gift a streamer, those points will be turned into LIVE Points if they are eligible to do so (please check more details in this article) and in Event Score for that user, giving a boost to that streamer’s activities.
In addition, viewers who give gifts will have their scores reflected in the Viewer Rankings (a ranking showing the top supporters for that specific streamer).
There are two types of gifts - Coin Gifts and Point Gifts, as explained in the paragraphs below.

■ Coin Gifts

Coin gifts are marked with a 🅒 symbol and are given by spending coins.
Coins can typically be used by purchasing them in the Coin Shop. Additionally, there are coins that can be obtained through campaign rewards or event bonuses. The former are categorized as Paid Coins (purchased in the Coin Shop) and the latter are categorized as Free Coins (acquired for free through rewards or campaigns).
You can use either paid or free coins when sending a gift.

■ Point Gifts

A point gift is a gift marked with a 🅟 symbol and given by spending points.
Points can be obtained through campaign rewards and event rewards, as well as through viewing bonuses.
❓What is the Viewing Bonus?
Points are awarded for viewing a certain number of streams for a certain period of time.
You can earn up to 3,000 points per day under the following conditions:

Regarding receiving rewards after the event concludes

The method of receiving the event's benefits varies depending on the event's rewards.

■ In the case of avatar items, coins, and points as rewards:

After the event, we will contact users via in-app chat and present the rewards directly to the winners.

■ Advertisement events, official program events, and goods events:

For advertisements and official program appearances, we will need to receive an avatar upload and other information from the prize winners.
In the case of awards that involve the shipment of merchandise, the prize winner will be required to submit his/her address and other shipping information.
For this reason, we will send you information through in-app "Notices" and "Chat".
⚠️Please note that not submitting your application by the deadline may result in the loss of your reward.
