Actually, in Japan, there is a culture of eating sushi during the New Year. Did you all know about it?👀

Sushi is written using the Japanese characters 寿 and 司, which can be roughly translated as “To be in charge of the congratulations”.
This is an ateji (phonetic equivalent) created for auspiciousness during the Edo period. Truly representative of celebratory occasions, sushi is an indispensable dish for festive gatherings among the Japanese.

Like the indispensable presence of sushi at celebratory gatherings, we will continue to bring you the evolving changes in REALITY throughout this year, just as we have been doing.💪

Meta-New-Year-Verse! I’m REALITY’s CEO,  DJ RIO!🦊

Now that the new year has begun and it's 2024, let me introduce one theme that REALITY will focus on this year. It is "Increasing the number of people who can make a living on REALITY!

REALITY aims to be a place where people from around the world can live as the person they want to be, and an essential goal for that is to become a place where individuals can earn enough money to sustain their lives.

In the future, we plan to expand our services to offer various ways for users to earn money. However, as a primary goal for 2024, we aim to enable more streamers to earn income through the existing live-streaming feature.

To achieve this goal, we will be working on enhancing features, expanding events, and strengthening support for our streamers. Stay tuned for the exciting developments!

Nice to meet you all! I'm Negitoro, serving as the Project Manager for the Avatar Gacha North America production line.
※ While it may seem like a coincidence, many members of the REALITY team happen to have names related to food... it's just happenstance! 😄

As mentioned in past messages in the REALITY Newsletter, REALITY's Avatar Gachas are currently being produced by two teams: the North American Artists team and the Japanese Artists team. I'm working with the North American Artists team right now.

Recently, there have been various themes in the gachas, and some may have found it challenging to adapt to the differences in design. In fact, I felt the same way initially. Beyond language and cultural differences, I discovered how colors and design concepts can vary so much between countries and artists. However, as we worked together to create gachas, one thing became clear: the shared goal of both production teams was to bring joy to everyone enjoying REALITY.

In my opinion, we can describe the “preferences” in REALITY with some Japanese proverbs:
“Each of the three being different from the other two”, “Several people, several minds”, “Multifariousness”, and “All things in nature”. That’s to give you guys a small idea of how many diverse minds we have using our app.

Considering the various [preferences], the moment I realized that there is no difference in the artists' intentions when they propose, thinking, "How about this?" with different countries, I came to think, "This avatar item is something that someone around the world loves!" From that point on, my confusion disappeared.

"Creating avatars tailored to your preferences in REALITY." We will continue to create items with that in mind. So, when "an item that perfectly matches your taste" is released, it means it was made for you, so please put it on your avatar!
