■ Video chat feature released!

A feature that allows you to use your REALITY avatar to talk with your friends through a video chat was just released!
You can join this kind of video chat room with up to 8 mutual friends. Oh, there’s also people doing this kind of joke within it:

■ Amount of DAILY streams indication

We can now see on our profile how many days we’ve been streaming, so it’s easier to confirm our DAILY badge stream situation!

▼ The bar will turn blue and the number of consecutive days of stream will be counted if you stream for more than 15 minutes within the deadline in the “DAILY” badge.
※Please note that the date changes at 6:00 (JST).

〇 But, what is the DAILY badge?
Between 6:00:00 and 05:59:59 on the following day, if you stream for more than 15 minutes everyday for 7 days in a row, you’ll receive a badge with DAILY written on it that will be displayed in your profile and thumbnail. You can appeal to your viewers showing that you stream everyday, so there’s an increased chance that they will come again to watch your stream!
※If you get past the day restriction, the DAILY stream will be counted on the day that the stream actually started.

Future Updates

A rank feature will be coming to REALITY!
This rank feature is being added to make the events more enjoyable for both users who only started playing REALITY recently, as well as users who have not yet had the chance to participate in events.

By dividing the events that users can participate into separate ranks, you can select the events that are most suitable for you. This will allow you to participate in events with streamers of the same class as you, and thus make the events more straightforward, fun, and easy to enjoy!
We plan to first start introducing the system for beginners, and add the rank system into the event application conditions in 1~2 months from now.

Metaverse!
I’m REALITY’s representative, DJ RIO!
Since we’re starting a Staff Newsletter from this month on, I was told to write something. Since this is the first time and all, I’d like to tell you guys what kind of place we want REALITY to be, and what we have in mind for REALITY’s future.

With REALITY’s base vision「We can be whoever we want.」in mind, we want to be a place where the whole world can become whoever they want to be through avatars.
I want to create a metaverse where people can interact with other people, express themselves through live streaming, play games and through all of that learn new things about themselves, have life-changing encounters, and even make money.
It's been about three and a half years since REALITY was launched. It is now available in 63 countries and regions around the world, in 12 languages, and a lot of users are giving us the pleasure of enjoying our app.

However, REALITY, which is rapidly globalizing, is still in its infancy. We're still only about 3% of the way to the future we envision, and there are still many glitches and things that make us uncomfortable due to the sudden increase in the number of people (s-sorry...).
So recently, we have been working hard to enhance the functions and strengthen the community management system in order to make it a safe and enjoyable place for everyone around the world.

In order to make REALITY a better place, we need the help of our users. I think it's more accurate to say that the users are the ones who make REALITY be what it is, and we of the staff are the ones who help build it.
The REALITY Community Guidelines document outlines what kind of community REALITY wants to be, and what kind of behavior is acceptable and what is not.
I hope you will take a moment to read it, and I hope we can walk together to create a better community.

As it was the first time, I talked a lot and was stiff, but I think I'll talk a little bit more loosely about techno next time!

Well, then. We increased the number of languages in our app by 10 this month!（12 languagues total）
I'm going to reveal the story of how it all came about just for you!

REALITY is a service for all people around the world.
It's a service for me, and it's a service for all of you who are reading this. I live in Japan, so I use Japanese all the time. In the same way, you are in different countries and regions, and use different languages. (For example Thai, Spanish, Korean, etc.)
We want to deliver the message of 「We can be whoever we want.」to everyone in the world, but we can't reach them with only Japanese and English.

Also, if you touch the app and it doesn't use your language, you will feel like, "Oh, this is not a service for me.”, right? Therefore, we increased the number of languages to 12, with the message that REALITY is a service for everyone around the world.

We are still able to support only 12 languages, so we will keep working hard on it.
Let's all enjoy a global REALITY together!
