My First Visit in November 2020….

It's been almost a year since I posted the Nan-Nan MV locations in Japanese….
I had been procrastinating to translate it into English for a long time but here it is! FINALLY.

When I actually went there for the very first time in November 2020….
yes, there, the shooting locations of "Nan-Nan",  Fujii Kaze's debut song,
I was absolutely floored!!!!! _(:3 」∠)_
Everything was really the same! (Of course)  
I was totally thrilled to be in the same place, but for some reason I was
nervous, short of breath, and in a hurry (why?).
(:.;ﾟ;Д;ﾟ;.:)….I was so excited, gasping for air through my mask and shouted in my mind, "Nan-Nan?? "

But hey, this is too good to do it alone. I need some Kaze fan friends to
accompany me. I want to play "Nan-Nan" with you guys sometime.
Anyone??🙌
And for those of you who can't come to New York right now, I want you to feel
closer to the "Nan-Nan" MV locations through this.

Now take a look at the map for the entire locations.

You can see they are quite wide-spread.

Let's start with Location①

This is the beginning of Nan-Nan.   Tribeca, Manhattan

Kaze turns from Jay St. at (A) and into Staple St. (B).
This is the scene where everyone swoons over him, right? lol _(」∠ ､ﾝ､)_💘

(B) is Staple St. ↓ Walking down to (C).
Don't be shy when playing "NanNan" here. Get serious, everyone dances like
these two!

This is actually a famous landmark. Overhead is the Staple Street Skybridge, but it's not shown in the video.

When you get to (C), this is what you see right in front of you as you walk
towards (D).  
By the way, because of these Christmas wreaths, we can tell the shooting
was during the holiday season.  (MV was shot around December 8, 2019)

Point (D). This is another our "must-do".  Just do it like Kaze!

So, it turns out that it was filmed in a small area within a single block.
The nearest station is Franklin Street.  ( #1 train).

Next!! Location② The Subway scene

Now we're heading to Utica Ave Station (A/C train) in Brooklyn.
There's another station with a very similar name, Utica Avenue Subway
Station (#2/3 train), so don't go there. That's in a sketchy area.
However, Utica Ave Station is not very safe either, so go visit in the daytime.

Once you get to the station, look for the Fulton/Utica exit.
This scene was taken between the ticket booth and the platform. I put the  
pictures in order.

First, go down the slope from the ticket booth.

…to the elevator.

BTW, when I first saw this elevator...(:.;ﾟ;Д;ﾟ;.:)gasp
I was like, "Oh my god, this is it! It actually exists…! ” (Of course it does)

…passing by the elevator and diving into the platform!

I must have looked like a strange person taking pictures like crazy here....thank you, locals, for leaving me alone.

And here's a bonus. This is the scene where they are passing through the
station called Kingston-Throop Avenues, which is next to Utica Ave Station.

Location③ Manhattan Bridge

Actually it's not a tunnel. It's under the Manhattan Bridge.
The nearest station is East Broadway of the F train.

This place is famous for a filming location. "The Joker" was also filmed here.

OK, this is the time for another "Nan-Nan" play, here we go!  
Kaze fans, are you ready?!

We all have to dance around back and forth in this tunnel like a lunatic. lol
Kaze looks so cool here that everyone does the same!

Here I was again, too excited and acting weird, almost getting hit by a car
while taking pictures. There was also a man who took a picture of me taking a
picture of this tunnel, which made me laugh. WTH?!

Lastly,  Location④ Long Island City

The ending and indoor scenes

There are several subway stations nearby.
Court Square-23 St Station on the E or M train,
or Court Square Station on the 7 or G.

Point (A): This is where the whole group turns around.
Follow the arrow on the map as we dance together going down the street.

This is Metropolitan Building where the indoor scenes were shot. Just one
block away from (A)

This is the door that they come out of the building.
