座敷わらしの宿「緑風荘」と「亀麿神社」
岩手県二戸市にある緑風荘と亀麿神社を訪れました。
緑風荘は座敷わらしがいる宿として有名です。座敷わらしとは、古くから岩手県や青森県の南部を中心に伝わる子供の姿をしている 精霊的な存在とされていて、住みついた家や、目撃した者に幸運をもたらす存在として伝えられています。
緑風荘の座敷わらしの中でも亀麿さんという方にお会いできると幸運が訪れるといわれています。

この亀麿さんですが実際に存在した人物です。南北朝時代、万里小路藤房は、南朝の後醍醐天皇に仕えていました。しかし、南北朝戦争において南朝は敗北し、北朝の足利軍に追われ、現在の岩手県二戸市にたどり着きました。 道中、二人の子供を連れていて、その兄が当時６歳の亀麿さんだそうです。
亀麿さんは途中病で倒れ、幼き生涯を閉じました。 その際『末代まで家を守り続ける』と言って息を引き取ったそうです。
その後、守り神＜座敷わらし＞として緑風荘の奥座敷の槐の間に現れるようになったと言い伝えられています。その姿を見たり、不思議な体験をした人は大変な幸運に恵まれると伝えられ、実際座敷わらしに出会った人には必ず良い事があったそうです。
またひとたび座敷わらしに気に入られると、どこであろうと座敷わらしが会いに来てくれるそうです。
残念ながら私は、亀麿さんにもその他の座敷わらし達にもお会いすることができませんでした。
余談ですが、橋本京明先生が言われていたのは、亀麿さんに会うには「亀麿さんに絶対会いたい」と強く強く願うことが必要だそうです。京明先生は何度かお会いされているみたいで、その後、良い事が起こったみたいですね。
尚、緑風荘の裏庭に亀麿神社があります。亀麿さんにお会いするには、この神社にお参りをする必要があるかと思います。是非、お賽銭をご用意し手を合わせてみてください。
