In the New York City premiere of “Discrete Figures,” the Japanese companies Rhizomatiks Research and Elevenplay — a dance group directed by Mikiko — collaborate with the American media artist Kyle McDonald. Part of the annual interdisciplinary festival Live Ideas — this year’s focus is on artificial intelligence — the work features five female dancers who interact with machines to look at the meeting point of humanity and innovation.

日本のライゾマティクス・リサーチとイレブンプレイ（MIKIKOのディレクションによるダンスカンパニー）がアメリカのメディアアーティスト　カイル・マクドナルドとコラボレーションした"discrete figures"のニューヨークプレミア。今年のメインテーマをとして人工知能に焦点を当てる学際的な「Live　Ideas　Festival」の（ヘッドライナーとしての）公演。
