みなさんこんにちは。春の訪れを予感させる温かい雨が降る日曜日を東京で過ごしているハウスミュージックラウンジ「秋葉原住宅」棟梁のSpinnageです。桜が咲くのももうすぐって感じですね。

Hello everyone. I'm Spinnage, the director of the house music lounge Akihabara Housing, ltd., and I'm spending a warm and rainy Sunday in Tokyo, a sign of the coming of spring. It feels like the cherry blossoms will be blooming soon.

さて、今週もいつものように、世界の新築ハウスミュージックを紹介していきます。ここから取り上げるのは、すべて僕が実際にダウンロード購入した曲。真剣勝負で選んだ楽曲たちです。さっそくご紹介していきますよ!

Now, as usual, this week I'm going to introduce you to some new-built house music from around the world. All of the songs I will be featuring here are songs that I actually purchased as downloads. I chose these songs in a serious competition. Let's get started!

1) Atjazz, Shea Soul - Home (Emmaculate Remix)

ロンドンのディープハウスマイスター・Atjazzの「Home」を、シカゴ郊外を拠点とするEmmaculateがリミックス。軽やかなブロークンビーツが心地良い。最高。

'Home' by London deep house meisters Atjazz is remixed by suburban Chicago-based Emmaculate. Pleasantly light broken beats. Best for.

2) Demarkus Lewis - Werkin Til Lite

ダラスの鉄人・Demarkus Lewisの「Werkin Til Lite」。OHMELYAからのリリースらしい、煌びやかなディープハウスに仕上がっています。

3) Ross Couch - Acting Up

イギリス・グラスゴーのプロデューサー、Ross Couchの「Acting Up」。セクシーで華やかなトラックです。

4) Grace Kim - All the Love (Sebb Junior Remix)

Grace Kimの「All the Love」を、スペイン・グラナダ在住の仏人プロデューサー、Sebb Juniorがリミックス。中音域の組み立てが巧みで耳を奪われます。

Grace Kim's 'All the Love' is remixed by French producer Sebb Junior, who lives in Granada, Spain. The mid-range construction is clever and ear-catching.

5) Moo Ve - Right There

スペインのDeep Clicksからリリースされた、Moo veの「Right There」。円を描く陶酔感のあるサウンドにうっとりします。

Moo ve's 'Right There', released on Spain's Deep Clicks. The circular, euphoric sound is enchanting.

6) Fred Everything, James ALexander Bright - Breathe

カナダ、モントリオールのFred Everythingの「Breathe」。James Alexander Brightの優しいボーカルがスケールの大きなトラックの中に響きわたる。格好いい。

7) JBmixx - Perfect Love (DJ Spen's Extended Edit)

米ボルチモアの大兄貴DJ SpenがEditした、JBmixxの「Perfect Love」。弾力をもったシンセベースがめちゃくちゃ気持ちいいです。

8) Demarkus Lewis - Don't Hide It

イタリアのHOUPHからリリースされた、ダラスの鉄人・Demarkus Lewisの「Don't Hide it」。チョップされたボーカルと甘い響きのEオルガンが絡み合います。

'Don't Hide it' by Dallas iron man Demarkus Lewis, released on Italy's HOUPH. Chopped vocals intertwine with sweet-sounding E organ.

9) Fouk - Mirage

オランダ・ユトレヒトの2人組、Foukの「Mirage」。粘るシンセベースとストリングスが盛り上げる、ドラマチックな曲です。

'Mirage' by Utrecht, Netherlands duo Fouk. It's a dramatic song with a sticky synth bass and strings.

10) Husky - When I Start Rocking'

オーストラリア・シドニーのプロデューサー、Huskyの「When I Start Rockin'」。満開の桜のような華やかで風通しのいいトラック。気持ちいい。気に入りました。

【Track of the Week】Fred Everything, James ALexander Bright - Breathe

今週の「Track of the Week」にはこの曲を選びました。派手さはないけれどよく調整されたシンセベースの音がめちゃくちゃ好みなんですよね…。

I chose this song for this week's Track of the Week. I really like the sound of the synth bass, which is not flashy but well-tuned...

NEW RELEASE

来る4/12（金）に、スペインのDeep Clicksレーベルから僕Spinnageの新譜「Seconds In Love」がリリースされます。Deep Clicksのレーベルカラーにあわせて、ちょっとエレクトロニカ寄り・ミニマル寄りのトラックに仕上げたので、ぜひ聴いてみてください！

On Friday 12 April, the Spanish label Deep Clicks will release the new Spinnage EP 'Seconds In Love', a slightly more electronic/minimalist track to match the Deep Clicks label's colours. Please give it a listen!
