みなさんこんにちは。風が強く花粉が飛び交う3月3回目の週末を東京で過ごしているハウスミュージックラウンジ「秋葉原住宅」棟梁のSpinnageです。

Hello everyone. I'm Spinnage, the director of the house music lounge Akihabara Housing Ltd., and I'm spending my third March weekend in Tokyo, where the wind is blowing and the pollen is flying around.

さて、今週もいつものように、世界の新築ハウスミュージックを紹介していきます。ここから取り上げるのは、すべて僕が実際にダウンロード購入した曲。真剣勝負で選んだ楽曲たちです。さっそくご紹介していきますよ!

Now, as usual, this week I'm going to introduce you to some new-built house music from around the world. All of the songs I will be featuring here are songs that I actually purchased as downloads. I chose these songs in a serious competition. Let's get started!

1) Deephope - My House

スペインでDeepClicksレーベルを率いるDeephopeの「My House」。交錯するシンセトーンの静物画。おだやかで心地良いトラックです。

2) Demarkus Lewis - Evening Run

今週は5曲もリリースされてるダラスの鉄人Demarkus Lewisの「Evening Run」。透明感のある女性ボーカルが印象的な、エレガントな曲です。最高。

We have 'Evening Run' by Dallas iron man Demarkus Lewis, who has released five tracks this week. It's an elegant song with clear female vocals. Best for.

3) Jimpster - You're My Ecstasy

英エセックスでFreerange Recordsを率いるJimpsterの「You're My Ecstacy」。彼にとっては久しぶりな気がする、四つ打ちが前面にフィーチャーされたアップリフティングなトラック。格好いい！

'You're My Ecstacy' by Jimpster, who heads Freerange Records in Essex, UK. An uplifting track that feels like it's been a while since he's had a four-piece featured up front. Cool!

4) T. Markakis - Street Beat (Sebb Junio Extended Remix)

アテネのプロデューサー、T.Markakisの「Street Beat」を、スペイン・グラナダ在住の仏人アーティストSebb Juniorがリミックス。この手堅さ！　安心して音に身を任せられます。

Athens producer T.Markakis' 'Street Beat' remixed by French artist Sebb Junior from Granada, Spain. This is solid! You can safely lose yourself in the sound.

5) Jorge Bezerra - Mojubá ( Zepherin Saint remix)

オーストラリア・メルボルンのプロデューサー、Zepherin Saintがリミックスを手がけた、Jorge Bezerraの「Mojubá」。トライバルな雰囲気をうまく残しつつ、エレガントに仕上げています。

'Mojubá' by Jorge Bezerra, remixed by Melbourne, Australia producer Zepherin Saint. It retains the tribal vibe well, but in an elegant way.

6) Marius - Scooba Receptor

フランス、レ・アビームのプロデューサー、Mariusの「Scooba Receptor」。四つ打ちをあえて崩した浮遊感のあるトラック。曲自体は2020年のものですが、Tresydosのレーベルコンピに収録されての再発です。気に入りました。

'Scooba Receptor' by Marius, a producer from Les Abîmes, France. A floating track that dares to break up the four beat. The song itself is from 2020, but it was reissued on the Tresydos label compilation. Liked.

7) Makez - Gratitude

アムステルダムの2人組、Makezの「Gratitude」。抑えたトーンのソリッドな音像が格好いい。

8) Kirk Degiorgio - All About U

うーわ格好いい！　大ベテラン・Kirk Degiorgioの「All About U」です。艶のあるシンセサウンドが丁寧に編み上げられた極上のハウス。最高！大好き！

Woo cool! All About U' by veteran Kirk Degiorgio. A superb house track with glossy synth sounds carefully woven together. Great stuff! Love it!

9) Taka Boom, Don Carlos, Micky More & Andy Tee - The Music of Your Mind (Groove Culture Extended）

Taka Boom, Don Carlos, Micky More & Andy Teeと4人の名前がクレジットされた、「The Music of Your Mind」。Groove Cultureのリリースらしい開放感のあるハウスです。

'The Music of Your Mind', credited to four names - Taka Boom, Don Carlos, Micky More & Andy Tee - is an open house release typical of Groove Culture releases.

10) Ken@Work - Reel Luv

メルボルンのプロデューサー、Ken@Workの「Reel Luv」。まさにクラシックディスコハウスといえそうな、とても安定感のある曲です。

'Reel Luv' by Melbourne producer Ken@Work. It's a very consistent song that could be described as classic disco house.

【Track of the Week】Jimpster - You're My Ecstasy

今週の「Track of the Week」はこの曲に決めました。Jimpsterが紡ぎ上げるストレートなディープハウスが本当に心地良い。決して饒舌ではないけれど、シンプルな音の重なりとソウルフルなボーカルの対比がJimpsterの世界観を雄弁に描き出します。最高。

I've decided on this track for this week's 'Track of the Week' - the straight deep house that Jimpster spins is really comfortable. It's not verbose by any means, but the contrast between the simple layers of sound and the soulful vocals eloquently portrays Jimpster's worldview. Best for.

パーティのおしらせ
PARTY TIME!

きたる3/19（火）の19時から23時まで、東京・渋谷の7th Floorにて、「秋葉原住宅」CFO（チーフ・ファンク・オフィーサー）のHiroshi Okuboが主催するパーティ「MeetAtSeven」が開催されます。僕SpinnageもゲストDJとしてプレイします。日本では祝日の前日ですし、ぜひ渋谷で乾杯しましょう！お待ちしてます！　あそびにきたらぜひ声かけてくださいね。

The party 'MeetAtSeven', organised by 'Akihabara Housing' CFO (Chief Funk Officer) Hiroshi Okubo, will be held at 7th Floor in Shibuya, Tokyo, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Tuesday 19 March. I, Spinnage, will be playing as a guest DJ. It's the day before a public holiday in Japan, so let's have a toast in Shibuya! I'm looking forward to seeing you there!
