みなさんこんにちは。すっかり寒さが戻ってきた2月最後の週末を東京で過ごしているハウスミュージックラウンジ「秋葉原住宅」棟梁のSpinnageです。

Hello everyone. I'm Spinnage, the director of the house music lounge Akihabara Housing, Ltd., and I'm spending the last weekend of February in Tokyo, where the weather has completely returned to cold.

さて、今週もいつものように、世界の新築ハウスミュージックを紹介していきます。ここから取り上げるのは、すべて僕が実際にダウンロード購入した曲。真剣勝負で選んだ楽曲たちです。さっそくご紹介していきますよ!

Now, as usual, this week I'm going to introduce you to some new-built house music from around the world. All of the songs I will be featuring here are songs that I actually purchased as downloads. I chose these songs in a serious competition. Let's get started!

1) Crackazat - Moth Boss

スウェーデン・ウプサラの彗星、Crackazatの「Moth Boss」。重たいビートにアブストラクトな音像が格好いい。

2) Ian Daniels - Like It (Deephope Remix)

スペインでDeep Clicksレーベルを率いるDeephopeがリミックスを手がけた、Ian Danielsの「Like It」。透明感のある音のひとつひとつが心地良いです。

'Like It' by Ian Daniels, remixed by Deephope, who heads the Deep Clicks label in Spain. Each transparent sound is pleasant.

3) Jimpster, KingCrowney - The Back feat. LEGZDINA

英エセックスでFreerange Recordsを率いるJimpsterとロンドンのKingCrowneyのコラボで「The Back」。キリッとした凜々しい音が慎重に組み立てられてます。格好いい！

'The Back' is a collaboration between Jimpster, who heads Freerange Records in Essex, UK, and London's KingCrowney. The crisp, interesting sound is carefully constructed. Cool!

4) Jack District - Raw Pulse

ブラジル・フロリアノポリスのプロデューサー、Jack Districtの「Raw Pulse」。跳ねるリズムに甘いハーモニーのマリアージュ。最高。

'Raw Pulse' by producer Jack District from Florianopolis, Brazil. A marriage of bouncing rhythms and sweet harmonies. Best for.

5) Miguel Migs, Lisa Shaw - Waterfall (Migs Deposit Box Dub)

サンフランシスコのMiguel MigsとLisa Shawのコンビによる「Waterfall」。7年前の曲のリミックスですが、Salted Musicからのリリースらしい色気のあるハウスです。

'Waterfall' by San Francisco Miguel Migs and Lisa Shaw is a remix of a seven-year-old song, but it's a gramarous house release typical of Salted Music releases.

6) Damian Rausch - Right For Me

ドイツ・ギーセン出身のプロデューサー、Damian Rauschの「Right For Me」。ややこもった音像の奧から、ハウスの快楽が流れてきます。

'Right For Me' by producer Damian Rausch from Giessen, Germany. House pleasures flow from the inner part of the slightly muffled soundscape.

7) Bondax - Journey (Feat. Mysie) (Kareem Ali Remix)

ロンドンの2人組・Bondaxの「Journey」を、米アリゾナ州ツーソンのKareem Aliがリミックス。甘くファットなハーモニーに2000年代初頭を思い出します。いいね。

'Journey' by London duo Bondax is remixed by Kareem Ali from Tucson, Arizona, USA. The sweet and thick harmonies remind me of the early 2000s. Good for.

8) Black Fan - TE2 (Blackburn Warehouse Mix)

Black Fanの「TE2」。プリミティブな音像には太い芯が通っている。ベースの音がめちゃ良い。気に入りました。

Black Fan's 'TE2'. Primitive sound image has a thick core. The bass sound is really good. Liked.

9) Wallace - Papertrip

Dam Swindleのチャートに入ってた、Wallaceの「Papertrip」。こもった音色のピアノリフにゴツゴツしたビート。クールです。

'Papertrip' by Wallace, which was in Dam Swindle's chart. A piano riff with a hushed tone and a thumping beat. Cool.

10) Tiger & Woods - Fake U

ドイツの覆面DJ・Tiger & Woodsの「Fake U」。BeatportではNu Discoジャンルに分類されてたけれど、体幹のしっかりしたビートに乗せてストレンジな音が交錯するのがめちゃ格好いい。気に入りました。

'Fake U' by German undercover DJs Tiger & Woods, classified as a Nu Disco genre on Beatport, but it's really cool to hear a mix of strangled sounds over a solid core beat. Liked.

【Track of the Week】Jimpster, KingCrowney - The Back feat. LEGZDINA

今週の「Track of the Week」はこの曲に決めました。サウンドもそうですが、LEGZDINAのポエトリーリーディングもスリリングですね。中盤のブレークからの控え目な盛り上げが鮮やかで、Jimpsterらしい大人のハウスです。

I have decided on this song for this week's Track of the Week. As well as the sound, LEGZDINA's poetry reading is thrilling. The understated build-up from the break in the middle is brilliant, and it's a mature house track in the Jimpster style.

新譜が出ました！
New Release!

2024年2月1日に、Beatport独占先行配信で新EP「You Drive Me Crazy EP」をリリースしました。去年の5月にリリースした「Highway EP」に続いてZetbeeがリミックスで参加してくれています（感激）。

On 1 February 2024, the new EP 'You Drive Me Crazy EP' was released as a Beatport exclusive pre-release. Following the release of the 'Highway EP' last May, Zetbee has remixed the EP (I'm thrilled).

SpotifyやTraxsourceなどでも2月15日から配信開始されました。ぜひ聞いてみてくださいね！
