Today,the world celebrate one of history’s .ost influential scientific minds, English cosmologist, author, and theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking. From colliding black holes to the Big Bang, his theories on the origins and mechanics of the universe revolutionized modern physics while his best-selling books made the field widely accessible to millions of readers worldwide(Google Doodleから引用）.

Stephen Hawking was a very curious person,who wanted to know everything about the universe:How the universe was created,Can we escape from a black hole?....

Despite the fact he lost his physical ability and the received a life expectancy sentence of 2 years,he was able to discover the Hawking Radiation,a radiation which is emitted by black holes and tell us many many things about the universe.

The world lost a genius in 2018,but he gave us the answer for many questions.

というわけで、今日は偉大なる理論物理学者、スティーブンホーキング生誕80周年です。

私はもともと理工学と宇宙に興味があったのですが、自分はあんまり物理や数学は得意ではなく、夢をあきらめてしまいました。しかし、私の中にはまだその好奇心が残っていて、そのおかげでホーキング博士の存在を知ることができました。

たぶん私が初めてホーキング博士を知ったのは小学校4年生の時に、偶然図書館の本棚に『宇宙への秘密の鍵』を見つけた時ですね。

やっぱり勉強は命なんだね…

それでは、ちょっと長くなちゃいましたけど、今日はここまでにしておきます。
