Situation in Ukraine
It has been 730 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.

First,
general things.

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
Russian losses are
1,000 soldiers
3 tanks
37 armored combat vehicles
49 cannons
2 multiple rocket launchers
2 air defense systems
32 drones
45 other vehicles.

Russian troop losses remained high at 1,000.

Across the front,
81 ground engagements were reported during the day.

Here is a short news report on the situation in Ukraine.
You can also use YouTube's chapter feature to watch where you need to.

The Danish Ministry of Defense issued a statement announcing that the first F-16 fighters will be delivered to Ukraine this summer.

Defense Minister Poulsen noted that the delivery of the F-16s depends on the training of Ukrainian pilots and support personnel,
as well as the necessary supplies and infrastructure in Ukraine,
making it difficult to set a timetable.

Meanwhile,
President Zelensky also revealed on social media that he had heard classified information about the number of F-16s,
their timing,
infrastructure development and personnel training during the Supreme Commander's meeting.

In this connection,
"NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg said that Ukraine has the right to attack military targets on Russian territory with F-16s," which drew attention.

Second.
British Defense Minister Shapps said in a parliamentary answer that "200 new Brimstone anti-tank missiles are being provided," adding that "these missiles have caused the Russian military to abandon the attack and withdraw.

This likely refers to the Russian army's crossing of the Donets River at Bilohorivka in May 2008,
where the Ukrainian army used these missiles to block the operation and withdraw from the area.

Meanwhile,
on March 22,
the German Bundestag passed a resolution by a vote of 384 to 284 recommending the provision of long-range missiles to Ukraine.
However,
since it was unclear what exactly long-range missiles meant,
a motion to specify that they were Taurus missiles and to question whether they should be granted was rejected by a margin of 182 to 480.

Budanov,
head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry,
said in an interview with the Wall Street Journal that "if Ukraine can get enough support and hold the front line,
it will be able to launch a counterattack next year.

Secretary Budanov added,
"Russia continues to consume ammunition beyond its production capacity,
and most of the tanks deployed last year are old.
Most of the trained Russian military personnel at the start of the invasion have been destroyed,
and now untrained conscripts are being sent in.
Russia's priority goal this year is the complete occupation of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts,
but there are not enough troops and it is unlikely that this will be achieved," he said.

On the other hand,
he was asked about the readiness of the Ukrainian military to counterattack Russia in 2025,
when it will be depleted and weakened,
Can our partner countries provide weapons and ammunition year-round while we make these preparations? That is an interesting question," he said,
stressing the importance of Western support.

Now,
here is the war situation in each region.
I will tell you where the war situation is changing.

Northeast: Luhansk region
Eastern part,
towards Bakhmut

We will report on the war situation in the area from Halkiu and Kupyansk to the Svatove-Kreminna line,
and from the Siversk area to Bakhmut.

In this area the Russians attacked three times at Shinkivka and Tabayivka,
seven times at Vimka,
southeast of Terny and Sibersk,
and twice in the direction of Bakhmut.

Towards Bakhmut

Northeast of Ivanivske,
Russian forces launched a 5-kilometer-wide attack on both sides of the T0504 road,
some of them advancing,
according to video footage with location information.

Russian forces are dropping hot-air bombs at the location indicated on the map,
confirming that the front line is at this location.

Several sources report that Russian troops entered Sadova Street from T0504 and advanced several hundred meters,
and Ivanivske appears to have entered the urban area.

Also south of T0504,
Russian forces attacked on several axes,
including a slight advance near the main road to just outside the town,
but were repulsed by an ambush by Ukrainian forces on the outskirts,
losing half of their vehicles.

The battle map has been updated to show the area occupied by Russian forces from the disputed territory and Ukrainian-controlled territory.

The area is approximately 3 square kilometers.

Otherwise,
the Russian offensive was repelled by the Ukrainian forces,
and there was no information affecting the battle map.

South-east Donetsk region.

The weather in Avdiivka is cloudy and sometimes hazy.
The minimum temperature is -4 degrees Celsius and the maximum is 2 degrees Celsius.
Today's weather is forecast to be cloudy with occasional showers.

Below is an update on the situation in the areas of Avdiivka,
Marinka and Vuhledar.

Avdiivka

Russian troops have carried out 19 attacks in this area.

Colonel Chernik of the Ukrainian Army stated that the Russians lost 364 tanks and 748 armored vehicles in the battle for Avdiivka,
"which is equivalent to one tank division and two armored divisions,
He added: "Even in the Afghan war,
we lost 180 tanks in nine years,
so there is no doubt that the Russian army has suffered losses of an order of magnitude.
At this rate,
the Russian army will run out of vehicles in another 18 months to two years.

West of the coking plant,
according to the positional video,
Russian forces attacked and reached as far west as Orlivka.

The video shown here is an analysis of the 3rd assault brigade of the Ukrainian army.

This attack appears to be underway.

The battle map has been updated to include this location as an extension of the disputed territory.

Several sources close to Russia also report that the 1st Independent Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Army attacked Severne from the south and east,
while the Ukrainian Army retreated to Tonenke and the Russians occupied Severne.

Although there is no visual confirmation at this point,
there is no information to suggest that this is propaganda,
and there seems to be no doubt that the Russians attacked and reached Severne,
We will change Severne from recaptured to disputed territory for the Ukrainian army for now,
and revisit it once we have confirmation.

If this is the case,
it will be a sign that the Ukrainian lines are beginning to crumble.

Marinka Sector

In this sector,
the Russians launched 14 attacks on Heolyivka,
Pobieda,
and Novomihailivka,
but were repulsed by Ukrainian forces,
leaving the battle map unchanged.

Conversely,
there are reports that Ukrainian forces are advancing to the southern outskirts of Pobieda,
closing the gap to the settlement,
which we will update as soon as we have confirmation.

South,
Zaporizhia Province.

In this sector the Russians have attacked nine times in Zolotaniva,
Prioutne and Robotyne,
The battle map is unchanged.

In Robotyne,
there are reports that Russian troops have advanced and Ukrainian troops have counter-attacked south of the town,
leading to heavy ground fighting.

South,
Kherson Province.

In this sector,
the Russians attacked Krinky four times,
but were repulsed by Ukrainian forces,
leaving the battle map unchanged.

In Krinky,
a Ukrainian Marine defended his position alone and was temporarily surrounded by five Russian soldiers,
but he returned fire on the position,
first killing two Russian soldiers,
after which the Russians retreated.

Others.
According to Aerotelegraph,
a Russian government plane carrying Foreign Minister Lavrov was denied refueling in Brazil and is now stranded.

Foreign Minister Lavrov was traveling from Rio de Janeiro,
where the G20 summit was held,
to the capital,
Brasilia,
to meet with the Brazilian president.

However,
the Russian plane was forced to make a major detour due to restrictions on the airspace it could fly in,
and by the time it arrived in Rio de Janeiro,
it had almost run out of fuel.
We asked the airport company to refuel the plane,
but they refused,
citing sanctions.

So we were allowed to board a plane with Brazilian Foreign Minister Vieira on short notice,
but it is not known whether Foreign Minister Lavrov boarded the plane or not.

That's all for today.
Thank you for watching.
