Situation in Ukraine
It has been 797 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.
First,
a general matter.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
the Russian losses were 1,250 soldiers
22 tanks
39 armored combat vehicles
26 artillery pieces
2 multiple rocket launchers
1 air defense system
3 drones
2 cruise missiles
36 other vehicles.
The entire front reported 133 ground attacks in one day.
Considering the number of attacks and other factors,
the Russians may have launched their summer offensive operations ahead of schedule.
And the ratio of the number of losses of Ukrainian military equipment to Russian military losses,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 2.6,
compared to the number of losses on the Ukrainian side.
The losses on the Russian side are mostly military trucks and infantry fighting vehicles,
while on the Ukrainian side a large number of pickups and SUVs can be seen.

Spokesman of the Ukrainian Air Force Evrash told about the F16 and its operations.
He said that the F16 could appear in the Ukrainian skies in July.
According to him,
after receiving the F-16s,
"the Ukrainian military will conduct various operations to repel Russian air strikes and attack the occupying Russian forces," he said,
suggesting both air defense and ground attack missions,
although he did not name specific weapons to be carried.
He also said that "we have spent a lot of money on underground shelters and hangars for aircraft,
and we have distributed them on different types of airstrips to avoid detection by the Russians," revealing that the aircraft would be equipped with tricks to confuse the enemy.
The missile to be carried is likely to be the S8 export version of the AIM120D (AMRAAM),
which has a range of 160 kilometers,
and the U.S. Department of Defense ordered the production of about 140 AMRAAMs for Ukraine last September at an estimated cost of $192 million.

The Ukrainian military intelligence service (HUR) announced that the number of cases of Russian soldiers abandoning their duties in the occupied Ukrainian territory is increasing.
Abandonments and desertions are particularly high on the southern front,
with 18,000 already counted in the southern military district alone,
of which 10,000 are mobilized soldiers and 2,000 are mercenaries,
according to the HUR.
Russian soldiers who desert on the Southern Front are taken to the Eastern Front and,
if caught,
sent to the front lines.

Israeli Foreign Minister Katz said,
"A third world war against Islamic extremism on the planet has already begun,
and the nations of the free world should unite to stop Iran before it is too late".

According to a periodic report by the British Ministry of Defense,
murders by Russian servicemen have increased by 900% over the previous year.
MediaZona reports that 116 Russian servicemen were convicted of murder last year,
almost nine times the number of murders in 2022 (13) and 2021 (11).
In Russia,

Northeast: Luhansk Oblast
Eastern Bakhmut
This section covers the war situation on the Svatove-Kreminna line,
from the area around Siversk to the area of Bakhmut.
In this area,
the Russians attacked 6 times near Berestove,
18 times along the Svatove-Kreminna line,
and 29 times around Siversk and in the direction of Bakhmut.
Kharkiv Governor Sinevbov reported that Russian forces have resumed offensive operations in the area,
and Russian military bloggers also reported increased air and artillery bombardment.
Kupyansk area
In Kislivka,
where the Russians claimed occupation by raising a flag yesterday,
unconfirmed reports indicate that they have advanced another block or so and extended their occupation into a park,
and we have updated the battle map to include this area as an extension of the disputed territory.
There is little information about this area,
and some sources close to Russia say that Kislivka is already fully occupied,
while others say that Russian forces are only occupying the area around the train station.
Svatove-Kreminna line
Sibersk and surroundings
There were no changes to the battle map,
although there were reports of limited positional fighting and information about air strikes in this sector.
ChasivYar area
In this sector,
Russian troops are preparing for offensive operations in the near future.
The Kremlin has issued an order to occupy ChasivYar by May 9,
the anniversary of Russia's victory in the war,
but due to the success of the Ukrainian army's topographical defense,
the Russians are unable to launch a general offensive,
and although they have gathered forces,
the offensive operation is still being prepared.

Of the two,
in Bohdanivka,
according to the position video,
the Ukrainian troops have withdrawn to the defensive line in the gray north of the settlement,
while the Russians have taken Bohdanivka.

You can see that there are no trees in the settlement,
which is surrounded by bright green,
and all the buildings have been destroyed.
The battle map has been updated to show this area as occupied by Russian troops from the disputed territory,
and Bohdanivka has been changed from a blue to a red marker.
The area is approximately 1.5 square kilometers.

The Russians also conducted offensive operations north of Klishchiivka,
using the Turtle 4 and Turtle 5 tanks and advancing in convoys.
The map shows the place where the Russians advanced in columns.
The tanks fired their tank guns behind the front line and then fell back directly into their garages,
leaving the battle map unchanged.
Other than that,
there are reports of Russian air strikes on Canal,
destroying buildings,
and heavy fighting in Ivanivske,
with both sides taking turns attacking,
but nothing that would affect the battle map.
Southeast Donetsk region
The weather in Avdiivka is cloudy.
The minimum temperature is 11 degrees Celsius and the maximum is 19 degrees Celsius.
The weather forecast for today is hail.
Below is an update on the situation in the areas of Avdiivka,
Marinka and Vuhledar.
Avdiivka
The Russians have conducted 55 attacks in this area.
Due to the limitation of their forces,
the Russians had to choose between the attack on ChasivYar and the attack in this area,
but it is possible that they chose to deploy their forces in this area,
where a tactical expansion of the occupied territories could be expected.
In Ocheretiye,
the area of the biggest battle,
Lidia Stepanivna (98 years old),
a resident,
decided to evacuate and started walking under fire,
running out of food and water on the way. He was protected by the Ukrainian military.

Novokalinove and Keramik,
Ukrainian forces south of Novokalinove are in danger of being surrounded,
and Ukrainian forces are retreating to a defensive line in front of Arkhanheroske,
with resistance on the western part of the line.

The area is approximately 10 square kilometers.

In Ocheretiyne,

the Ukrainian troops withdrew from a school in the northeast,

Russian forces conducted another offensive operation in the vicinity of the metal plant on the west side on the same day,
advancing about 1.5 kilometers along the railroad tracks,

There is unconfirmed information that the Russian troops who occupied Soloviove are advancing further south of the pond to the west,
towards Novopokrovske.

For Marinka
Vuhledar area
The Russians made 15 attacks in this area.

In Krasnohorivka,
north of Marinka,
according to the video with location information,
Russian troops broke through the Ukrainian defense line in the Donbass conflict and entered and occupied the house,
which we call the ghost house,
shown on the map.
What we are showing you is from the Ukrainian side and shows the location indicated on the map.
We have updated the battle map to show this area as partially occupied by Russian forces from Ukrainian-controlled and disputed territory.

Russian troops also advanced in convoys south of Krasnohorivka,
reaching just south of the brick factory,
and after dismounting soldiers from their vehicles,
some vehicles returned.
We reported in our video on the 26th at this location that the Turtle tanks advanced and reached the brick factory and returned safely,
but on that day the Ukrainian army was unable to repel the Russian convoy of vehicles.

South,
Zaporizhia province
Southern Kherson Province
In this area,
the Russians conducted four attacks in Stalomaiorsk and Robotyne,
and five attacks in Krinky.
In Robotyne,
according to video footage,
the Russians used tanks,
helicopters and infantry to attack and occupy Ukrainian positions from the southwest,
and then seized the positions north of the town,
at the location indicated on the map,
with a Russian flag indicating occupation.
Several sources close to the Russian side also claim occupation by Russian troops.
