Situation in Ukraine
It has been 668 days since the Russian invasion of Kyiv,
so let's start with general matters.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
Russian losses are,

1040 soldiers
17 tanks
28 armored fighting vehicles
36 guns
3 aircraft
19 drones
57 other vehicles.
The entire front reported 95 ground battles in a single day.
And the ratio of the number of losses of Ukrainian equipment to Russian losses,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 4.0,
which is four times the number of losses on the Russian side compared to the Ukrainian side.
The Russian side has suffered more losses in infantry fighting vehicles,
military trucks,
and civilian vehicles,
indicating that they are sending their soldiers to the front lines.
There is no particular trend on the Ukrainian side.

Here is a brief news report on the situation in Ukraine.
You can also use the YouTube chapters feature to see where you need to go.
1st.
The Ukrainian Air Force announced Friday afternoon that it shot down three Russian Su34 fighter-bombers.
Details are not available and there is no Russian announcement,
but the Air Force has records leading up to the shoot-downs.
The Su34 is a large fighter-bomber that has been in service since 2007,
with an estimated 120 aircraft produced to date.
Details leading up to the shoot-down are unknown,
but Russian military bloggers have indicated that it was near Krynky in the southern province of Kherson.
It seems likely that it was either a previously unknown anti-aircraft missile or a long-range air defense missile such as a Patriot.
Second.
After meeting with President Zelensky,
Dutch Prime Minister Rutte updated his social networking site to announce that "the first 18 F-16s are being prepared for transfer to Ukraine.
This is the first time that the specific number of aircraft has been revealed.
While not specifying a timeframe,
Prime Minister Rutte noted that "it is also necessary to train personnel and prepare operational facilities,
" while a recent internal document from the Estonian Defense Ministry states that "the provision of the aircraft is promised by the end of the year.
It is possible that the first news of the downing of the F-16 may be the first downing of an F-16 in Ukraine.

Now,
here is the war situation in each region.
We will tell you where the war situation is changing.
Northeast: Luhansk region
Eastern part,
toward Bakhmut
We will report on the war situation on the Svatove-Kreminna line from Halkiu and Kupyansk,
and from Sibersk to the area around Bakhmut.
In this sector,
the Russians attacked 19 times at Shinkivka and Stelmachka,
4 times around Terny,
and 7 times around Bakhmut,

The Russians shelled the area twice as much as usual and made some advances in this direction.
Kupyansk Area
According to video footage with positions,
the Russians attacked Shinkivka and established a stronghold at the exit of the forest.
It was identified by a Ukrainian drone attacking the location shown on the battle map.
The video comes from a drone of the 30th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
which is monitoring a concentration of Russian infantry at the location on the battle map.
This forest exit,
which has been repeatedly repulsed by Ukrainian forces,
has been updated on the battle map from disputed territory to Russian-occupied territory.
Svatove-Kreminna line.
In the vicinity of Terny,
the Russians have been shelling the area twice as much as usual since the 21st,
and then sent out ground troops to attack.
The images shown are of the 60th Mechanized Brigade and 21st Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army,
where the Russians launched an infantry assault force to begin the attack.
The Ukrainian troops then opened fire,
including cluster shells,
and the Russians were repulsed with more than 300 casualties.
The battle picture remains unchanged.
Around Sibersk
On the axis of attack on the battle map south of Spirne,
where we reported the Russian attack three days ago,
the Russians launched an offensive on this day.
The Russians launched offensives on at least two of the attack axes,
with the Ukrainian 8th Mountain Assault Brigade and 10th Mountain Assault Brigade responding and using drones to block the Russian advance.
Shown here is the western axis of attack,
with Russian forces advancing in the vicinity of the battle map just prior to the Ukrainian attack.
We have updated the battle map with the area occupied by Russian forces in this vicinity.
The area will be negligible.

Bakhmut Area
The Russians are attacking in this area,
but at the same time,
they can afford to pull their forces out of Bakhmut and redeploy them to Avdiivka as well.
1st.
North of Bohodanivka,
along the railroad to Chasifjar and O0506,
the Russians launched an offensive and advanced.
The video is from the Russian side and shows Russian soldiers occupying positions after the Ukrainian army retreated early,
at the location on the battle map just south of the railroad.
However,
the Ukrainian troops then began to counterattack,
and the latest unconfirmed reports indicate that the Ukrainian troops counterattacked along the railroad and pushed back the Russian troops.
The battle map updates the disputed area north of Bohdanivka,

part of the disputed land south of the railroad has been updated on the battle map to Russian-occupied land.
The area is about 0.5 square kilometers.
Drawing a little on the map,
it seems that Chasif Yar is a high priority target for attack among the Russians because of its location on high ground,
from which the surrounding area can be seen.
Other than that,
no other information was found that would affect the battle map in this direction.

Southeast Donetsk Oblast
Weather in Avdiivka is rainy
Lowest temperature 1°C,
highest 2°C
Today's weather forecast is rain or light snow
The following is an update on the war situation in the areas of Avdiivka,
Marinka,
and Vuhledar.
Russian troops made 35 attacks on Avdiivka and 15 attacks on Marinka and Novomihailivka.
Avdiivka
The Russians are maintaining the pace of their offensive in this sector with the aim of encircling Avdiivka.
The Russians have deployed at least three motorized rifle regiments,
seven reserve units,
and three tactical reserves to maintain offensive strength.
1st.
Around Krasnohorivka,
the Russians are attacking in all directions,
but the Ukrainian army is also defending and there is no change in the battle map.
What we are showing you is a video of this area,
where you can see smoke rising from the ground and the occasional Bradley tow.
There are no changes to the battle map.
2nd.
North of Opitne,
the Russians attacked and advanced.
The image shown is of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army and is in the vicinity of the battle map.
The battle map has been updated to show this vicinity as occupied by Russian troops from disputed territory.
The area is about 1 square kilometer.
Russian forces have also attacked northeast of Opitonne,
and the war map has been updated to show this area as occupied by Ukrainian forces from the recaptured area to the disputed area.
Marinka area
There was no information on changes to the battle maps for both Marinka and Novomihailivka on this day,
but the Russians have moved the 57th Independent Motorized Rifle Brigade,
which was engaged in operations in Kurdumivka,
to Marinka to maintain their strength,
so it is expected that they will attack again.

South,
Zaporizhia Province.
Both sides attacked in this direction,
with seven reports of ground fighting,
mainly in the vicinity of Robotyne.
Russian military bloggers are reporting that mud is making it difficult to use armored vehicles in this area.
Now,
on the battle map,
as we reported in yesterday's video,
the Ukrainian army may have counterattacked and made a slight advance in Robotyne.
According to the positional video,
the Ukrainian troops attacked from the north of Robotyne in the direction of Kopani,
and the Russians responded with artillery fire.
What we are showing you is from the Russian side and is in the vicinity of the battle map.
The map has been updated to show this area as part of the recaptured territory of the Ukrainian army from the disputed territory.
The area is very small.

rear areas.
Only one report today,
no photos,
etc.,
but there was a report of an explosion in Almuyansk,
Crimea.
South,
province of Kherson.
In this area,
the Russians launched 12 attacks.
In Krynky,
among them,
we reported in yesterday's video that the Russians launched 30 attacks,
but some fighting continued,
and the Russians advanced partly with losses.
1st.
positioned video shows Ukrainian forces conducting numerous drone strikes at the location shown on the battle map east of Krynky,
cutting Russian forces' strength.
The video is from the Russian side and shows Russian armored vehicles moving in.
The video appears to show an armored ambulance taking in the wounded.
We have updated the war map of this area from disputed to occupied by the Russians.
2nd.
According to multiple sources,
the Russians are also advancing west of Krynky,
attempting to pinch Krynky from the east and west.
We have updated the war situation map from the disputed area to the Russian-occupied area.
Other.
Skibitsky,
deputy director of Ukraine's main military intelligence service,
said that in order to sustain the Russian offensive,
the Russians are amassing 1,
000 to 1,
200 soldiers daily and sending them immediately to the Ukrainian front lines.
An analysis by the Institute for the Study of War suggests that Russia is sending the same number of soldiers to the front lines every day as are being neutralized to maintain the offensive,
but is unable to organize new units,
suggesting a cyclical maneuvering of soldiers.
That's all for today.
Thank you for watching.
