Situation in Ukraine
It has been 792 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.
First of all,
general things.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
Russian losses were 1,040 soldiers
13 tanks
14 armored combat vehicles
28 cannons
1 multi-purpose missile
1 air defense system
10 drones
59 other vehicles.
The entire front reported 101 ground battles in a single day.
And the ratio of the number of losses of Ukrainian equipment to Russian losses,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 1.7,
compared to the number of losses on the Ukrainian side.
The losses on the Russian side are dominated by civilian trucks,
military trucks,
and infantry fighting vehicles,
while on the Ukrainian side tanks are prominent,

NBC News reports that three U.S. National Security Council officials say the U.S. secretly provided ATACMS missiles with a range of 300 kilometers and used them twice against Russian forces earlier this month.
The officials said the missiles were used against an airfield in Crimea on April 17 and against a Russian military gathering east of Berzhansk on April 23.
The warheads were both cluster and conventional,
with a range of 300 kilometers.
The ATACMS is a tactical ballistic missile that flies at Mach 3,
making it difficult to shoot down with Russian air defenses,
confirming that almost the entire Crimean Peninsula,
which has been difficult to attack in the past,
was targeted by the Ukrainian military.

The Ukrainian military announced that it had downed a Kh69 cruise missile in the Sinelnik district of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The Kh69 is Russia's latest air-launched,
high-precision cruise missile,

capable of flying as low as 20 meters above the ground and hitting ground targets with a 300 kg payload.

the Russian Military Time Court convicted 684 deserters last month,

Northeast: Luhansk Region
Eastern Bakhmut
This section covers the war situation on the Svatove-Kreminna line,
from the area around Siversk to the area of Bakhmut.
In this area the Russians attacked 5 times near Berestove and 21 times around Siversk and in the direction of Bakhmut.
ChasivYar Area.
The Russian offensive in this sector has slowed somewhat.
The Russian military continues to bomb the buildings that serve as shields with glide bombs,
but reports indicate that the Russian military is currently replenishing its losses and reorganizing its forces,
as the Russian ground offensive has been unsuccessful over the past week.
The video is from a Russian military reconnaissance drone and shows the area from near the town of Novi to near the Canal of Canal.
The Russian military also has a certain amount of time to attack,
and Ukrainian soldiers interviewed by the Wall Street Journal reported that although they often launch attacks at dawn and dusk,

Immediately west of this location is where the canal runs through an underground pipe that allows Russian troops to easily exit the canal,

On the high ground south of Ivanivske,
we reported in yesterday's video that the Ukrainian Army's 92nd Assault Brigade had retaken a position,
and today the Russian Army attacked that position,
resulting in a battle of positions.
The counterattack was partially successful,
or the Ukrainian troops withdrew early,
and what we are showing you is a drone video from the Russian side,
where Russian soldiers are checking the position in the location shown on the map.
This location is a high ground with a view of both Ivanivske and Klishchiivka,
and the battle for the position may continue.
We have updated the battle map of this area from recaptured Ukrainian territory to disputed territory.
Southeast Donetsk region
The weather in Avdiivka is rainy.
The minimum temperature is 9 degrees Celsius and the maximum is 20 degrees Celsius.
The weather forecast for today is cloudy.
There is also a wind of about 10 meters per hour,
but the weather will have little effect on drone flights and bombardment.

Avdiivka area
In this area the Russians carried out 21 attacks.
The incident took place in Ocheretiye,
which is the largest focal point.
According to Forbes and the regimental commander of the 47th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army,
the 47th Mechanized Brigade,
which has M1A1 Abrams tanks and M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles,
is defending this area because of the lack of vehicles in the battle for Avdiivka.
However,
the 115th Mechanized Brigade abandoned its position,
and the 47th Mechanized Brigade,
which was supposed to be in the rear,
was left to defend the position,
allowing the Russians to advance due to lack of strength.
The Russians,
on the other hand,
were unable to take advantage of the opportunity and did not send additional troops,
so Ocheretine was not fully occupied.

Currently,
Ukrainian forces are shelling the Russian troop positions near the substation shown on the map,
which is at the entrance to the town,

The Russians have also expanded their occupation of the town of Ocheretiye,
but the northeast school is a Ukrainian military stronghold defended by Ukrainian troops.
Also in the northwest of Ocheretiyne,

During the evacuation,
there was an attack by Russian troops and a shell exploded 70 meters away.

The Russians also moved west of Novobakumchivka,
expanding their area of occupation.
Novobakumchivka was changed from blue to red,
and the battle map was updated to show the Russian-controlled area as occupied by Russian troops from the disputed territory.

Ocheretiyne,
at 225 meters above sea level,
is about 50 meters higher than this surrounding settlement and can be seen from the surrounding area.
If Ocheretiyne is completely taken,
the Russians are likely to use it as a foothold to launch an offensive around the area,
and the Ukrainian army is expected to launch some counterattacks to stop the Russian advance.

In this area the Russians made 24 attacks.

The Russian army had launched several rockets and airstrikes since the previous day,
so it is possible that the Ukrainian army has retaken this area.
