    I watched the movie PROMARE, created by studio trigger; Hiroyuki Imaishi and Kazuki Nakajima who are famous for Guren-Ragan(グレンラガン） and Kill-a-kill（キルラキル）. 

     It was a tremendous wonderful, extremely great, stunning, fabulous, gigantic shock at the time for me. Yep, I was beaten by the movie, and recommend to watch the movie to trigger heads around me. 

     In Japan, it’s getting end to play in big theaters so, I want to talk about this movie. It’s my impression, guess and wild ideas about this movie.

TRAILER

Firstly, I was laughing at the movie trailer because it’s so ANIKI(Kamina) of Guren-Ragan. Machismo blue heard boy is shouting something was so funny. No more ANIKI !! It’s more than decades ago!! And yeah, you going to transform that big fire engine to monster robot, right?

     However, those of my impressions are ruined, upside downed. Totally different.

No, I mean yes. Garo the main Character is so ANIKI and he gets stupidly huge robot. No, don’t turn away. It’s not just about that. Totally out of my imagination and I’m sure that far from yours too.

Anyway, It was a movie of the trigger, by the trigger, for the trigger heads. If you like both of trigger anime, you must to watch. No choice.

Triangle and Square

This movie is about battle of Triangle and Square, which signifying fire and water. Or, instinct versus intellect, wildness versus control.

All Objects belong to fire is expressed as a triangle form and water is in square shape. It’s completely done.

For example, Burnish(fire people) boys ride a motorcycle because main frame is triangle. On the other hand, police are on the car, the square frame.
See how the city is going? It’s square!! Symbolic square city means it’s under control.

WHAT IS TRIANGLE?

The movie stars some people in the train, house or other SQUARE thing burn up naturally from their body by super pressure, suffer or sorrows.
That means, triangles are came from square. Right? In the square, there are two triangles in it. Draw diagonal line. You see two. That is the story. Triangle comes out from square and square conquers triangle.

Fire-people called BURNISH run wildly and non BURNISH, I mean ordinary people, did not feel happy about that because BURNISH light others up by the fire power. People fear about that and getting purge them or capture to control.
See how square people treat triangle people so bad. Square people could be a triangle people; square has triangles inside.

Garo rides a bike sometimes and that means he can be BURNISH the triangle people.

SPEED STAR

This movie is so grate because of its opening sequence. Not only the burning people on the square but, also lens flare are square too ; that’s not normal, square lens flare means too heavy control.
This means it’s going to be circulars lens flare in the end. People in front of screen can guess what’s going to happen in the end.
So, we just confirm How to fix that. Trigger believe us to no one leave the theater by that story telling. Trigger heads never do that. We want to know how. That’s very good.

QUESTION about left arm

Clay who is the villain of the movie purges Burnish, and commander of the square city is the Burnish too. He uses fire power in the final battle but, we know that he is the Burnish before that. How?
There is the scene that Clay punches Garo by the left knuckle with anger. We got a question why he uses left hand? In the past scene, Clay lost his left hand by conflagration.
So his left arm could be fake, does not work enough may be but why he beat Garo by the left hand? We guess, “he could be a Burnish...he used fire power”.
One of my friend said he saw red or pink flash or something in the scene but I’m not sure about that. So check by your self.

Garo as the another ANIKI

     Other friend told me that Garo is good because he worries and conflicts by him self. In Gren-Ragan. ANIKI did not worried and conflicted; Simon did that. These Garo’s worry and conflict made him very attracted man than ANIKI. 

Story with skipping 

   The story does not tell us all. We just guess. In example, there are some troubles between Ardebit sisters but it’s not solute.
    Eriss Ardebit, elder sister, who is the main scientist of the square city and may be loves Clay. There aren’t scene that Eriss and Clay makes love but, we know she loves by how she called Clay’s name in emergency.
     Thus, there are many sub stories and those are never told. So what we do is talking each other like this.

TRIGGER!!!!!!!!!!!

PROMARE is the movie by the trigger for sure. Wack Robot transforms into coool robot by the guts, and it’s get big more than earth. Totally trigger anime. No words.
It’s very Gren-Ragan, Simon & Villal, drill makes hole to the world, fly high with the god speed. There aren’t enough reason or scientific explanations. Go with the guts!! Don’t think, feeeeel!!!

If you are not trigger heads, you could be die. If you are the man who needs explanation what’s going on, you might suffering to watch. It’s for trigger heads.
BUT, if you like trigger anime, I’m sure you love this.
