〇「他人と私は何の関係もない」

　受験勉強をしていて効率が落ちる理由の一つが

「どんなに頑張っても、アイツにはかなわない」

　という絶望感だろう。私も経験したことがある。

　しかし、考えてほしい。その彼（彼女）とあなたは何の関係もない。具体的には

「同じ学部、学科を受けるのですか？」

「同じ地区で同じ職業をするのですか？」

「学歴が全ての職業ですか？」

　もし、受験校が異なり、異なる地区で働き、学歴ではなく実績重視の仕事をするのなら、彼（彼女）はキミとは何の関係もない。ライバルですら無い。無視してよい。

　If he (she) is applying to a different school, working in a different district, and doing a job that is performance-based rather than academic, then he (she) has nothing to do with you. He (she) is not even your competitor. Ignore him or her.
