Ikuhiro Enokido joins Team Étoile to compete EWC (Le Mans) as substitute for Kazuki Watanabe.


2024 April, 4th 17:30 CEST

Getting approached to the opening of FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) at Le Mans which will be held on April 20th-21st.
Kazuki Watanabe was supposed to race for Europe rounds, but he got injured in the All Japan Championship held on March 10th.
Therefore, we decided to appoint Ikuhiro Enokido for the opener of EWC that 24 hours Endurance Race at Le Mans.
Enokido will compete the second round of All Japan Championship at Motegi. Because of that, he'll be joining us from the Race week of opener of EWC that he will race for the debut race of Team Étoile with our riders already tested at Le Mans.

"France, Le Mans, 24 hours, BMW are all new to me, I will put all my effort to take on the race for Team Étoile communicating with team members.
I'm really looking forward to improving my speed and riding skill discovering new things riding for an uncharted length of 24 hours. I feel very privileged to be asked for the substitute and now that I have received the offer, I will do my best to carry out my racing responsibly for Team Étoile."


EWC 2024 calendar

Round 1: 24 Heures Motos (Le Mans, France): 18-21 April
Round 2: 8 Hours of Spa Motos (Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium): 6-8 June
Round 3: 45th Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race, Japan): 18-21 July
Round 4: Bol d’Or (Circuit Paul Ricard, France): 12-15 September
