とある家庭の台所の風景である。

異国の人形を大きくしたような少女が
手前の調理台の上に仰向けに寝かされ　
サラダ油か桃の缶詰の汁かわからないが
びしょ濡れで天井を見上げて泣いている。

その奥にはステンレスの流し台があり　
まだ洗ってない食器が山盛りになっている。

さらに奥にある明り取りの窓からは
恐ろしい顔の鬼が台所の中を覗いている。

調理台の真下の汚れた床の上には
料理の道具ではないような気がするが
殴られたら死にそうな金棒が転がっている。

ハエが一匹、少女の上を飛んでいるが
あまりたくさんのハエが飛んでいないのは
おそらく鬼の顔が怖いからだろう。
　

Demon in the Kitchen
