I am creating a website for an online Japanese language course.

The reasons why I decided to make such a site are as follows.
- Compared to students from Asia, students from Africa are at a great disadvantage in terms of their Japanese language skills.

There are many Japanese language schools in many Asian countries. Some universities and high schools offer Japanese as a foreign language.

Some international students cannot take the Japanese language courses offered by their universities due to scheduling conflicts.

I heard about this thing too.
It often takes 3-6 months from the time they are qualified studying in Japan until they come to Japan.

We want them to learn as much Japanese as possible before they come to Japan.
Even after they come to Japan, we would like them to use this site if their schedules do not match the Japanese language courses offered by their universities.
This is what we are thinking about.

オンライン日本語講座のサイトを作っています。
作っていると言っても、自分で作っているのではありません。
プロの人に作ってもらっています。
予想していたよりも時間がかかっていて、完成までまだ後数ヶ月かかりそうです。

そのようなサイトを作ろうと思った理由は、以下のようなことです。
「アジアからの留学生と比べて自分たちアフリカから来ている留学生は日本語能力という点ですごくハンデがある。」
ある留学生が私に言ったことです。

アジアの多くの国々には日本語学校がたくさんあります。　大学や高校の外国語の授業として日本語を選択できるところもあります。
でも、アフリカや中東には日本語学校はほとんどありません。
大抵のアフリカや中東からの留学生は日本に来て初めて日本語に接します。

これが私がオンライン日本語講座のサイトを作ろうと考えた理由です。

留学生を受け入れている大学（大学院含む）ではそれぞれの大学で留学生向けの日本語コースを作っています。
でも、留学生は大学で授業や研究があります。
留学生の中にはスケジュールが合わず、大学が提供する日本語コースを受けられない人もいます。

こういう事も聞きました。
日本の大学に入学する3−6ヶ月前に留学が決まることが多いそうです。

留学が決まってから日本に来るまでの間に少しでも日本語を学んでもらいたい。
日本に来てからも、大学の日本語コースとスケジュールが合わない場合はこのサイトを利用してもらいたい。
こんなことを考えています。

オンライン日本語講座のサイトを作ろうと考えた理由は上に述べたことです。
でも、オンラインでの日本語講座ですので、もちろん世界中の人が利用できます。
