Three Daily Habits for Success: A Peek into a Tour Guide’s Life!

Hello everyone!
Today, I’d like to share with you three habits I practice daily as a tour guide. My name is Miyuki, and I am a licensed tour guide with a national guide license in English.

The three habits I maintain are practicing English, jogging, and working out. Can you guess what they all have in common?
Well, none of these habits can be mastered overnight!

I continue practicing English every day, even after passing the highest level of  English proficiency test and the national tour guide exam. I believe that improving my English to make it easier for foreign visitors to understand contributes to their satisfaction. Instead of learning English just to pass exams, I focus on enhancing my language skills to make my explanations clear and easy to understand, expanding my vocabulary, reducing grammatical errors, and improving my pronunciation for clarity.

Next up is jogging. Physical stamina is crucial for tour guides.
No matter how much I wish to offer hospitality to foreign visitors, it’s impossible to do so with a smile if I'm exhausted. Therefore, I jog and work out regularly to build physical strength.

Remember, these three habits won't develop overnight.
However, I believe that diligently practicing them every day will lead to a satisfying stay for foreign tourists visiting Japan.

Thank you so much for reading till the end!
Happy traveling and thank you for dropping by!
