PIXERの最新作、『COCO（邦題　Remenber Me）』 Lee Unkrich監督。
私はこの作品、とても素晴らしいアニメーションだと思いました。
まず色彩が目を引き、特に死者の国は想像力なくしては描けない圧倒的な世界。アニメーションの豊かさを感じます。
大それたアドベンチャーでもなければ、むしろ日常の延長を描いているのに、想像力の広がりを持っていて、物語を作る上で一番大切なコンセプトがしっかりとしている印象を受けました。そして何より、登場人物の心情が観ている側にとても伝わってきました。

これまでPIXER作品は大好きでいくつも観て来ましたが、今までで一番キャラクターたちの心情が伝わってくるように感じました。脚本がとにかく素晴らしいのだと思います。また、劇中を包みこむ優しい音楽。主題歌の歌詞もとても大切な人と心の中でつながり続けること、姿は見えなくてもたしかに感じるもの。誰もが経験する大切な人の死と、そして訪れる自分自身の死。
その事実にそっと寄り添うような、作品全体にとてもあたたかな優しさが溢れていました。Adrain　Molina共同監督があるインタビューで”観客がずっと大切にし続ける作品が作れたらそれがアーティストの成功である”と話していました。その考えに深く共感するとともに、こういった考えが作品の土台となっているから、
優しく胸に響く作品になっているのだと、そしてその想いをきちんと作品として人々に届けている才能と気力に、ありがとうと尊敬の気持ちでいっぱいになりました。

Remember me,忘れないで。
自分が生きているということは、たしかにここまでつながってきたということの証。
それはいつも知らぬ間にそっと背中を押してくれる存在のような気がしています。
そしていま、目の前にある人生の大切さを改めて感じることができました。
出会えてよかった作品です。
