日本の皆さん、お元気ですか？ハッピーハロウィン！！今日は10/31ハロウィン当日でリアルな状況を忘れたくない、みんなシェアしたいと思って、noteを開いて書き始めました。（投稿は少し遅れることでしょう）

Hi everyone!! Happy Halloween!! I just started writing because I do want to remember Halloween Real in the US, so now today is October 31st- Halloween day!!! (It will be late to share with you this note)

アメリカのハロウィン、迫力が違いすぎます。登校時から興奮が止まらず夜まで気が持つか心配なくらいです。留学が始まった8月から友達がハロウィンの話をしていたり、どのお店もハロウィンのデコレーションがしてあってその時点で違いは感じてました。ハロウィン前の土日でどこもパーティーざんまいだったし、お店は一気にクリスマスモードに変わっちゃったのでこれで終わりかなと思ってたけど、今日の当日。格別です。めちゃくちゃ楽しい。なんかずっと興奮しています。バスでの登校中、顔が傷だらけのメイクをした女の子が乗ってきたり、school cafeteriaにはすべての机にキャンディーが置かれていたり学校の建物あちこちがデコレーションしてあったり。血だらけのエプロンをつけてバイトしている学生がいれば、100％ドレスアップしてキャンパスを歩いている学生やhalloweenの何かを身に着けている学生がいたり。うわ～アメリカだ、楽しい、楽しい、楽しすぎる!!!! 中でもキャンパスでゴリラを見たのが印象的。めっちゃでかいコスチュームだったしなんだかリアルだったしいちいち歩いている学生を脅かせててめちゃくちゃ面白かった。speaking/listeningの授業では先生もドレスアップしていて、授業の半分はhalloweenに関するゲームやアクテビティでした。クラスメイトもhalloween make upをして参加。もちろん treatもいただきました:) 私も日本から持ってきたハッピーターンをみんなにシェアしました！みんなおいしいって喜んでくれてよかった！

American Halloween… I have been very excited since I left my apartment this morning, I’m just worried about whether I will be able to live till tonight. I’ve felt that American Halloween is absolutely different from Japan. My friend talked about it since August, and every shop has decorations. There were many parties everywhere on the weekend before Halloween, and I thought it’s already gone because the decorations changed Halloween to Christmas at every shop suddenly. BUT TODAY, OCT 31ST. This is American Halloween!!! So exciting! So fun! Super fun!!! It’s crazy!!! The girl with creepy makeup was taking the bus on that way to campus this morning. There were candies on every table at the school cafeteria, lots of decorations in any school buildings. There were the students with bloody aprons, I saw them dressed up perfectly or put on some Halloween stuff on campus. Wowwwww. This is American Halloween!! So fun!!! Fun! FUNNN!!!! I was surprised the most that I saw a gorilla, it looked like a real one. It was really funny, he tried making pedestrians surprised. The teacher also dressed up in my speaking/ listening class, half of the class was just playing Halloween games and activities! Also, my classmates had Halloween makeup;) I got some treats there!! I brought some Japanese snacks (rice crackers), which are called “Happy Turn” to share with my classmates! I was glad that they liked it:))

Halloween night

ハロウィン当日の夜もパーティーに誘われたので、友達と参加しました。このパーティーが私の予想をはるかに超える楽しさで！！！もともと大好きな人たちに会えるって思ってめちゃくちゃワクワクしてたけど、私の予想は誰かの家に集まってtreak or treatってキッズたちみたいにやるのかと思ってた。（普通にキッズに紛れてひとつひとつおうちまわってtreak or treatいつかやってみたい）それが連れていかれた先はbarn house!!!(農家の大きなトラックが置かれているような倉庫)　「WOW!!まてまてまて。めちゃくちゃクールやばい楽しみたのしみ」pirates Calibanのジャック, カウボーイ, ピニャータ、high school musicalのトロイ、ガブリエラ、シャーペイ、ライアン, ジョーカー, ゴースト, エイリアン、宇宙飛行士。みんなのコスチュームを見てまた興奮。倉庫の前にはぞろりと並べられたお菓子たち、空には満点の星と月、近くにはキャンプファイア。100点満点！そしてそしてbarn houseの中はダンスフロア！！！うわ～これぞ今までドラマや映画でみていたやつ！！だと大興奮！！！寒さ（－2℃）も今までの疲れも忘れて完全にスイッチ入りました:)) ダンスして歌ってしゃべっての繰り返し、私にとってはじめての経験。とにかく最高でした！！！！言葉にうまくできないけど、とにかく最高の気分でした。アメリカ来て1番楽しかったかもって思うくらい！その中でも私のお気に入りはグループダンス:)) (cha-cha slide, cupid shuffle, wobble!!忘れない用にメモ。気になる人はyoutubeでチェックしてみてね)あと大好きなtaylor swiftを熱唱したこと(カラオケが恋しくなった)あ〜思い出すだけで楽しいです。まじでまじで楽しかった！絶対に忘れたくないって思ったし、忘れない自信がある。一生記憶に残しておきたいって思うくらい楽しみました。(翌日ははしゃぎすぎてエネルギー消費しすぎてへとへとでした)このような感じでアメリカの一大イベントhalloweenを予想をはるかに超えて楽しむことができたので、続くthanks giving & christmasが待ちきれないです。

I went to a party with friends on Halloween night. That was SUPER FUN than I expected!!! I was excited that I knew I could see the people I love but I just expected we have dinner at someone’s house and do ‘trick or treat’. (It’s one of my dreams to do “trick or treat” walking around neighbors) However, finally, my friend took me to a “Barn House”!! “OMG this is so cool, super cool! omg omg so fun! so exciting!!!” (in mind) Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean, a cowboy, a pinata, Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Ryan from Highschool Musical, Joker, ghosts, an alien, an astronaut etc… More got excited to see friends’ costumes. Lots of snacks in front of the barn house, tons of stars and a full moon in the sky, also there was a campfire!! That was literally perfect! And then, there was a dance floor inside the barn house!!! “Wowwww I felt like I was in a movie or tv-show!!” I was super excited!!!! I totally forgot that I was so tired, and it was very cold outside (28.4F, -2C)!! I enjoyed dancing, singing and hanging out with friends A LOT!!!! My favorite part of this party was the group dance!! It was my first experience ever! It was really exciting:::))) (songs→ cha-cha slide, cupid shuffle, wobble) I loved singing “Love Story” and “You’re Belong with Me” by Taylor Swift as well!! (I’m missing KARAOKE so much) Awwww it reminds me a lot… I loved that time, it was super fun!! SO MUCH FUN!! I don’t wanna forget that time, I’m sure I will never do it. (I didn’t have any energy and felt exhausted the next day…) Therefore, I enjoyed one of the big American holidays much more than I expected! Next Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming! I really can't wait for them!!

Halloweekend

そしてこちらはちょっと番外編。今年のハロウィンは火曜日だったので、だいたい1番盛り上がるのはハロウィン前の土日。金曜日の夜からどこもかしこもパーティーでした。通称: Halloweekendと呼ばれるみたい。金曜日の夜はinternational studentsの団体のパーティーに参加。そこで念願のパンプキンカービングを経験しました！ジャックオーランタンもコスチュームでもラッキーなことに2位を受賞しチョコレートを2個ゲット::)))土曜日の夜は友達がハウスパーティーに招待してくれたので、それに参加。the アメリカンでした。人の入れ替わりがすごい、入っていっては出ていくみたいな。めちゃくちゃ人がいました。個人的にはアメリカ到着後の３日間を過ごさせてもらったおうちだったのでルームメイトと「あれから3ヶ月も経つんだね」としみじみもした…

I’m gonna talk about Halloweekend at this part. This Halloween day was on Tuesday, so many parties are held on the weekend of Halloween, which is called “Halloweekend”:) There were lots of parties from Friday night! I went to a party for international students. Finally, I experienced pumpkin carving there!! And luckily, I got the second prize of my jack-o-lantern and costume;;)) Also on Saturday night, my friend invited me to her house party, so I went there! It was so American!! There were lots of people, and it was so funny for me because they were coming in and out a lot. And personally, I felt deeply with my friend because we stayed the first three days when we came to the US. It’s already been three months…

そんなこんなで120%の力で楽しみまくったhalloweenでした:)) 今はただただ余韻に浸り燃え尽きてます…そしてthanks givingが待ちきれないというところです！今回も読んでいただきありがとうございました！

Therefore, I ENJOYED HALLOWEEN anyway:) I'll never forget American Halloween!! I can't wait for thanksgiving. Thank you for listening this time as well!!
