How did you come up with the idea for the "Deep Sea series"?

Gosunkugi: The idea for The Deep Sea Warrior series came to me when I was a student, and I first sold it as an ABS garage kit at a school festival. The idea came to me as a student's little doodle, and I made it on my PC as a 3D doodle, just like drawing on a desk with a pencil. So, all the settings and obsessions were added later. Even the replacement of parts was done just for my own enjoyment. Because it's an indie work, I'm happy to be able to make it so that it can be freely replaced without being bound by standards or size.

The reason I decided to become a sofubi artist was, when I was a student, I first heard about indie sofubi on Twitter and wanted to make them, but the trouble was that there were little information and they seemed expensive and many of the sofubi artists were quite old and difficult, so i was hesitant as a poor student. However, after becoming a working adult and made my first one, I felt that it was many times easier to make than to create. To be honest, sofubi is something that a student can easily make by working part-time for about half a year, saving up some money, and kneading clay or work on the computer in the meantime. Because it's easy, I became a sofubi artist.

Modeling and coloring

I do the modeling and coloring myself. I wasn't originally doing modeling and
coloring. I think the hardest part is figuring out how to get it out of the mold.
It's still difficult because I haven't been able to do it yet, but I'm not particular
about modeling and coloring. I just wanted to create what I wanted and make the colors look like traffic lights.

Future development of Gosunkugi Gangu

Next, I would like to make sofubi of hostile races and various other races. The 4th prototype has been made, and the 5th is in progress.
I'd like to buy a crane game machine and use them as prizes, or depending on the event, sell them as target shooting or ring toss. Also a solo exhibition.
I would also like to make mini sofubi and plastic models for such as Gacha-Gacha. If there is an opportunity to talk to a company...
To be honest, I'd like to make all kinds of things, so from now on I want to go
beyond what I can make individually.

I also talk about it in detail on YouTube.
