THE TSUGARU STRAITS IN THE WINTER SIGHTS

From when been getting off the night train which departed from Ueno,
the Aomori station was in snowy.
Everyone returning to the northern country, saying nothing in silent, been hearing only rumble of the dark sea.
I've, too in the loneliness,
transferred to the railway ferry across this sea.
And staring at the sea gulls those're nearly freezing, I was but sobbing only.
Ah-a-ah, the Tsugaru Straits in the Winter sights.

"You can see over there.
That's the Tappi cape, a northern end of the land,"
one of the strangers said so, pointing someplace far.
Wiping up the window of the cabin which's clouded with our sighs, though,
there only was a hazy view seen in the distance.
Saying the good-bye, the love of mine,
I will be back to my home town, leaving you.
The wind is blowing hard, sounding so sadly, almost to making me cry.
Ah-a-ah, the Tsugaru Straits in the Winter sights.
