Working remotely, it becomes more difficult to do things together.
To create an environment where we as a team would do something together, I thought of some fun activities we could do as a Team in Figma!

20 seconds:
First to test the creative mind and drawing skills, we all started with clean canvas in figma and within 20 seconds we had to draw an image of what the facilitator said to draw in different styles, such as draw a tree with the pencil tool.

Maze:
With all the members screens at 100% zoom, while holding down the pen tool, find the finish. It was interesting to see how the thinking process was of the members how to find the way to the finish line quickly.

Connection:
Each member would get a number. 1, 2, 3 etc…

Member 1, would send a direct message to Member nr. 2 telling what to draw, and Member 2 would send a DM to member 3 with something else to draw..etc…Afterwards we would guess what each member tried to draw.

Interesting to see how individual members interpret what to draw. 

Sixteen circles:
With the remaining time we would try to draw up to 16 circles.
It was interesting to see different ways how to make use of the canvas.

These were some activities you could do with the team, to not only have fun but also get an idea how each member works which leads to better teamwork in the long term!

“デザトレ! Dezatore!" is a one-hour session set out weekly to explore, experiment, share skills, knowledge and ideas among ourselves. It is a curt and catchy sounding vocabulary we created from the words デザイン・トレーニング (dezain・toreeningu : design training) ☆
