A flower isn't as beautiful as it looks or smells.

It's as beautiful as it feeds the hummingbirds, the bees, becomes honey for their infant young and us, and later the flower becomes a fruit and feeds even more of us and lastly as the seeds of this fruit.

All from that flower, become a new life, and new flowers begin this beautiful gesture that is the flower afresh and anew.

It's the perpetual gift.
