ミカエルたちは、ロアーヌへ戻った。ロアーヌ待機組のモニカ、ユリアン、カタリナ、エクレアと合流した。そして、今後の方針、チーム分けなどを議論し始めた。

「今後の方針を決めたい・・・しかし、まずは、カタリナ・・・マスカレイドの奪還、見事であった。マスカレイドは、お前が持っておけ」

「ミカエル様、承知いたしました。ほかにも、七星剣などの武器があります」

「七星剣はハリードが装備するのがよかろう」

「あと、ミューズ様の家に戻ったシャールから、銀の手を託されています」

「銀の手も、ハリードが装備しろ。それを装備していると、二回連続攻撃ができるようになる」

「任せろ、カムシーンと七星剣の二刀流だな・・・」

「そういえば、ハリード、リブロフに行ったとき、お前の部下と名乗る者と会ったぞ。諸王の都という場所で、ファーティマ姫を目撃したとの証言があった」

「本当か・・・姫が諸王の都に・・・そして、諸王の都には、本物のカムシーンがあるという伝説があるんだ」

「む、ということは、ハリード、その曲刀はカムシーンではないのか？」

「ああ、三日月刀という、普通に売っている曲刀だ。カムシーンに憧れていたから、そう呼んでいたのさ」

エレンは、ハリードの元恋人が生存しているという話を聞いて、胸がざわめいた。

「次のアウナスとの戦いは、遠距離攻撃できるメンバーが適切だ。サラ、ウンディーネ、トーマスは遠距離攻撃ができるな」

「サラが行くなら、私も行くわ！」

エレンが言った。

「エレン・・・エレンは確かに、斧を投げて攻撃できるが、投げた斧を回収しないと駄目だろう・・・それでは非効率だ」

「待って！私の工房で、フランシスカという斧をつくれるの。その武器ならば、ブーメランみたいに投げても戻ってくる技、ヨーヨーを使えるわ」

ノーラが提案した。

「よし、ではノーラは、ピドナに戻って、フランシスカをつくってくれ。エレンは、その武器で攻撃するように」

「では、アウナスとの戦いは、今のところ、サラ、エレン、トーマス、ウンディーネか・・・あと一人か二人、いたほうがよさそうだが・・・」

「僕も行く！」

少年が名乗りをあげた。

「待て・・・宿命の子が二人そろっている状態は好ましくない。もし何かあったとき、大変だろう」

「どうしても、行きたいんだ・・・僕は宿命の子・・・だから、自分の使命を果たしたい！もし行けないならば、僕は生きている意味なんてない！」

「おいおい・・・わかった、そこまで言うならば・・・認めよう」

「ミカエル様！いいんですか・・・」

「仕方がないだろう、ここまで言われて、行くなと、私の口からは言えない。ただし、条件を付けよう。アウナスは遠距離攻撃しか受け付けない。少年よ、お前も術を身につけろ。トーマスと同じように、白虎術を覚えるのだ。白虎術は、回復のアースヒールもあって、有用だ」

「わかりました！」

「そして、出発の前に、カタリナから大剣の手ほどきを受けるのだ。カタリナは大剣の達人だ。強力な技を教わるといい。カタリナ、頼んだぞ」

「わかりました、ミカエル様」

「では、アウナスとの戦いは、サラ、エレン、トーマス、ウンディーネ、少年の5人だな・・・ハリードよ、お前は諸王の都へ行って、真のカムシーンを手に入れてはどうだ？」

「そうだな・・・カムシーンは貴重な戦力になるだろう・・・あそこには、他にも貴重な宝がたくさんあるとの噂だ」

「私も同行しよう。ロアーヌの政治は信頼している影に任せる。あとはカタリナ、お前も来るのだ」

「わかりました、ミカエル様」

「お兄様が行くならば、私も同行しますわ」

「よし、モニカ、そしてユリアンも来てくれ」

「そうすると、諸王の都へ行くのは、俺（ハリード）と、ミカエル、カタリナ、モニカ、ユリアンの5人だな・・・ノーラにはフランシスカをつくってもらわないといけないし」

すると、エクレアが話に割って入った。

「私も、活躍したい！私も諸王の都へ行きたい！」

「エクレア・・・というか、タチアナ・・・君にはあとで話がある」

「え・・・なんで本名がばれているのかしら・・・」

こうして、パーティ編成が決まった。

その後、ミカエル、トーマスの2人は、別室にタチアナを呼び出した。

「タチアナ・・・君は、ラザイエフ家の家出少女だな・・・」

「ばれちゃったか・・・実はそうなの・・・」

「何か、困ったことがあったのかな？」

「実は・・・私の誕生日パーティーで、親戚に毒をもられたの・・・部屋で隠れているところ、たまたま聞いてしまって・・・それで、恐ろしくて、逃げてきたわけ・・・」

「そ、それは・・・大変だったな・・・逃げだすのも無理もない・・・トーマス、お前の祖父の家で、タチアナを保護してやることはできないか？」

「はい、祖父に頼んでみます」

「タチアナ、君は、ロアーヌのトーマスの祖父の家で隠れているのだ」

「え・・・でも、火術要塞に行くのに、妖精さんと面識のある私がいないと、妖精さんは案内してくれないわよ」

「そうなのか・・・妖精を逃がしたのは、モニカ、ユリアン、そして君の三人だったな・・・仕方がない、では、タチアナもジャングルへ行くのだ」

「いいんですか、ミカエル様」

「やむを得ないだろう、ジャングルは、案内がないと、生きて帰ってこれない場所とも言われている。サラたちが行方不明になられては困る」

「そうですね・・・それに、ジャングルならば、ラザイエフ家の関係者もいないでしょうし・・・」

こうして、タチアナも、サラやトーマスたちと一緒にジャングルへ向かうことになった。
