カタリナ、ノーラ、タチアナ、ブラック、妖精、雪だるまの6人は、氷銀河を進んでいた。海の上に浮かぶ氷を歩いていく。氷銀河は信じられないほど寒い・・・妖精の不思議な力で（雪だるまを除いて）少し暖められながら、進んでいった。

「あれが、永久氷晶なのだ」

カタリナが手をかけてとろうとした瞬間・・・風花というモンスターが襲ってきた。

美しい女性の姿をしているが、髪の毛にあたる部分が氷になっている。風花は冷気をあびせかけてくる。

「ボクが盾になるよ！」

雪だるまは、冷気でダメージを受けない。雪だるまが攻撃を受け止めてくれている間に、カタリナが大剣で風花を攻撃し、打ち破った。

「永久氷晶は、外の世界を冒険するには必要なのだ。ボクがもらてもよいのだ？」

カタリナは「よいのだ」と答えた。雪だるまは無邪気に喜んでいた。

その先へ進むと、ドラゴンが守っている氷の剣があった。

「あのドラゴンを倒さないと、氷の剣はとれないようね・・・」

ドラゴンとの戦いが始まった。妖精の槍技「無双三段」、ノーラの体術技「タイガーブレイク」、ブラックの斧技「スカイドライブ」などをあびせて、さらにタチアナが小剣技「ファイナルレター」を命中させた。

ドラゴンは弱っている・・・そこへ、最後にカタリナが大剣を炸裂させた・・・ドラゴンは息絶えた。そして、一本の槍を残した。「竜槍スマウグ」というらしい。

「この槍は、妖精が装備してはどうかしら？」

妖精は、竜槍スマウグを装備した。

カタリナは、氷の剣を持ち上げた・・・すると、眩い光を放った。

「これが氷の剣・・・冷たい・・・冷気を感じるわ・・・乱れ雪月花と相性がよさそうね・・・」

そのころ、ハリード、サラたちは、ナジュ砂漠の東の奥にある、乾いた大河へ来ていた。サンディーヌという植物系モンスターを倒し、ハリードたちは流砂に流されていった。

「西側に戻れるかどうかわからないが・・・少年を救うためには仕方がないな・・・」

その先には、サボテンすら見かけない、死の砂漠が広がっていた。死の砂漠を超えていくと、やがて草原が見えてきた。草原には湖もあった。

「ハア、ハア・・・疲れたな。水を飲もう」

ハリードたちは、水分補給をして、さらに進んでいった。草原を歩いていると、テントの集まる村のようなものが見えた。

「お、村があるぞ・・・行ってみよう」

村では、「変な恰好をした人たちね」と話しかけられた。村の中でもひときわ大きいテントの前に、一人の女性が立っていた。

「あなたたちは・・・老師！」

女性を追いかけてテントの中に入っていくと、先ほどの女性ともう一人、いったい何歳なのかわからない老女がいた。

「私はツィーリン。ムング族よ。この方は、バイメイニャン老師よ」

「お前たち、本当に西から来たようだな・・・生きたのを見るのは初めてだよ・・・いったい何をしにきた・・・」

「実は・・・というわけでここまで来たんだ」

ハリードが説明した。

「アビスゲート・・・四魔貴族・・・宿命の子・・・アビスゲートに心当たりがないわけではないが・・・協力してもらおう」

「何をすればいい？」

「あんたがいいね」

「キャ、何？」

バイメイニャンはウンディーネの腕をつかんだ。

「術について調べさせてもらうよ・・・あんたから一番、術の強い波長を感じたのさ・・・あと、ネフト族の巣へ行ってもらいたい。リンリン、一緒に行きなさい」

「リンリンと呼ばないでください！もうそんな歳ではありません。ハリードさん、この兜を持ってください。ネフト族の話す言葉がわかるようになるわ」

「よし、ツィーリン、ネフト族の場所まで案内してくれ！」

一行は、ネフト族のもとまで行こうと歩き出した。ところが・・・問題が発生する。

「そ、そんなにバカと連呼しなくても・・・」

一行は、改めて、ネフト族のもとを目指して歩き出した。
