Fight to SNS

To reduce the time of using SNS, I suggest to visiting to museums art or science and so on. In the first place, I love visiting art museum, because I feel that my sense was really brushed up. I go them twice a month. Firstly I tell you 4th merits of doing that. Then, I show you useful way of using SNS as you fight SNS using SNS.

4th merits

1environment that you do not use smartphone

Anyway, it is the most important you adjust your environment. Thanks for visiting there, if you notice, you may forget the existence of SNS, because  no one fiddle with one's phone in museums.Additionally, the artwork int the museum is so spectacular and the audience is so focused on it that they forget about the existence of their smart phones. You Instead of enduring not to use SNS while being conscious of SNS, you will be able to forget about the existence of your phone itself and reduce the time you spend using social networking sites without stress!

2 university student is cheaper

We are university students, so we can get some benefits from students rate. You may receive 100~400yen discounts for each museum. Often college students are in debt. So even if we get a little discount, we must be thankful for this system. In Japan, there are “campus members”, discount system for college students. If universities attend this system and pay some money, the students of these universities are able to enter registered national museum for free. However TUFS are not belong to this system. I wonder why TUFS don’t, despite the fact that this university is in the humanities and social sciences. I think the reason is that the budget of this college  is very tiny and  this college not having enough room to spare as they provide financial support for cultural activities. That’s too bad.

3 connect your education

To enter TUFS, you must have studied world history or Japanese history. If you visit there, you are able to watch real works which you learn. This experience that you watch historic, cultural properties which you see in your textbook  is fantastic. When you watch authentic artwork, you will surely gain intellectual excitement.

4 go on weekdays

Museums are basically crowded on weekends. If you visit the  museum on these days, too many people to relax and enjoy the artwork. At that time, college students had free time on weekdays, so you have a chance to enjoy there. But some TUFS students would disagree this idea because our school has many classes and lots of assignments  will be given. I agree their opinion. Then I’d like to make a suggestion. Busy students should use your morning time. I mean you visit museum before you go to college school. I think weekday mornings are the least crowded. Moreover, in order to visit there early morning if you go to bed early and get up early, you leads to reduce using SNS on the night. Using SNS at night is the worst time, because seventeen hours after you wake up, your judgment is so clouded that you can't make the decision to quit social networking and keep looking. When you decide what to do the next morning, you will look forward to tomorrow morning and go to bed early. Ultimately, it will also lead to less time spent on social networking sites.

Fight to SNS with using SNS

The use of social networking sites would not be out of place to promote young people to go to museums. Therefore, we give two useful suggestions.

1 “TOKYO ART BEAT”

This is applied for searching art museum. Using this app, you are able to look for the museum in perspective of some topic, key word and term. When you click the museum, you can get lots of information like overview, schedule, venue and access etc..If you go to the official web site you have to go back and forth within the site. But with this app, you can see everything at a glance. Moreover, it is based on white and pink, has no unnecessary design, and is concise and easy to read.

In fact, I use this app whenever there is an exhibition I want to visit. Then I can find recommendations for similar exhibitions. This feature also allows me to learn about minor exhibitions that are generally not listed.

2uploading photo on instagram
It is to put a photo of the museum that can be taken on Instagram. To be honest, I don't like people putting these pictures on Insta. I think it is not classy to have precious works of art being consumed as mere "Insta-photography," and it is a real turn-off. However, as you know, the power of social networking sites to spread the word is great, and an increasing number of young people are actually going to museums, lured by the word "Insta-Eye". By using Instagram as an affirmative action tool, visiting museums will become a daily choice, and as more people visit, it will help to decrease the use of social networking sites.
