You yourself also
are
one of the breathings.
あなた自身も　また
　呼吸の　ひとつです。

Sometimes fast,
sometimes slow,
時には　速く
時には　ゆっくりとした

sometimes delicate and fragile,
sometimes tough and strong.
時には　繊細で　か弱く
時には　たくましく　力強い。

You are not isolated,
even if you are lonely,
　あなたは　たとえ孤独だとしても
　孤立することは　ない

you are not isolated,
even if you are on an alone island.
　たとえ　孤島にいるとしても
　　隔絶されることも　ない。

When being called the wind,
you can bring hundreds of birds to an island
thousands of miles away.
あなたは　風と呼ばれば
　　何百もの鳥たちを　数千マイル彼方の島々へ
　渡らせることが　出来る。

When being called the wave,
you can lead the fishes that have journeyed the oceans
back to the rivers of their birthplace.
あなたは　波と呼ばれれば
大海を旅してきた　魚たちを

Breathing―
you go around the world
and
the world
goes around you.
呼吸――
あなたは　世界を巡り
世界もまた
