分析①

猫インスタグラマーになるために、現状の把握(ネットサーフィン)を試みた。
いくつか興味がある項目が出てきたので公開していこうと思う。

・忙しくてSNSを確認できない人
・ニートが１日でどれだけ頑張るか興味がある人
・社会の底辺を見たい人
等の心の隙間を埋めたい。暇な私(NEET)にお任せあれ。

冗長的な話は苦手なので、早速本題に移る。
本記事では、2つの観測した項目について、感想・展望を記す。
最後にまとめて終わる。

国(言語)による違い

これは、概ね予想がついていたが想像していたより大きな差があった。
具体的には、

・猫の品種
・有名猫の割合 (韓=英＞日=中)
・猫の毛色・模様
・猫純度(投稿記事の猫割合) (韓＞日＞中＞英)
・猫に服を着せる割合 (韓＞日＝英＞中)
・投稿でバズりたい気持ち (韓＞日＝英＞中)

が散見された。
やはり、飼育地毎の気候の差や可愛いの対象に対する違いがあるのだろうか。
もしくは、各国でSNS映えする猫種があるのだろうか。
この辺りは、猫学として学んでみたいところである。(筆者は高校中退)
もしこのあたりが数値で示せたら面白そう。(めんどくさい)(時間はある)

猫の品種の違い

猫の品種によって、飼い主の特性が違うことも傾向として捉えることができた。 具体的には、品種毎に以下のようなものが見られた。

・スコティッシュショートヘアの飼い主

→バズ狙いが一番多い。また、最も多く観測した気がする。もう私はバズ狙いです！というのを隠す気もない人がたくさんいる。猫はとても可愛い。

・アメリカンショートヘアの飼い主

→ 猫好きが比較的多い感じがした。ハッシュタグをつける率が低いように感じた。
猫にフォーカスした写真というよりも、生活の中の猫という自然な写真が印象的だった。猫はとても可愛い。

・ブリティッシュショートヘアの飼い主

→スコティッシュの飼い主と同様。猫はとても可愛い。

・ペルシャ猫の飼い主

→ 豪邸に住んでるペルシャ猫ちゃんが多い？って思った。Instagramにおける猫の金額と飼育頭数の関係を調べることで、競合がいない領域で猫インスタグラマーになれる？？？
(↑これ考えてる時賢くなった気がした。)
猫はとても可愛い。

・マンチカンの飼い主

→スコティッシュの飼い主と同様。猫は可愛い。

まとめ

どの猫ちゃんも可愛い。しかし、人間は可愛くない。
今回の分析を通して、人間が前に前に出過ぎることはよくないということを学んだ。猫に踊らせたり、尻尾を無理に触ってキャッキャ言ってるのは言語道断だ。
次回のnoteでは、いろんなSNS毎の傾向と、猫の模様や色の決定方法について調べて報告したい。

Analysis

In order to become a cat Instagrammer, I attempted to grasp the current situation through internet surfing. I came across some interesting topics, so I plan to share them publicly.

I want to fill the void for people who are too busy to check social media, those who are curious about what information NEETs (people "Not in Education, Employment, or Training") gather in a day, and those who want to see the bottom of society, among others. Leave it to me, a bored NEET.

As I dislike being verbose, let's get straight to the main point. In this article, I will record my impressions and outlook on two observed topics. Finally, I will summarize.

Differences by Country (Language)

I had a general idea, but there were larger differences than I had imagined. Specifically, I noticed differences in cat breeds,.

・cat fur colors and patterns
Percentage of famous cats (Korean=English>Japan=China)
・cat purity (the percentage of cat-related posts among all posts)
(Korean > Japanese > Chinese > English)
・the percentage of cats wearing clothes
(Korean > Japanese = English > Chinese)
・the desire to make posts go viral
(Korean > Japanese = English > Chinese)

It seems that focusing on cat breeds may be influenced by the differences in climates in their respective breeding locations. Alternatively, there might be cat breeds that are more likely to be popular on SNS in each country. This is an area I would like to study as part of "catology" (note: the author dropped out of high school).
It would be interesting if these aspects could be quantified (although it's bothersome and I have time).

Differences in Cat Breeds

Based on the cat breeds, I noticed differences in the characteristics of their owners. Specifically, I observed the following for each breed:

・Scottish Shorthair owners

Most of them aim for viral posts. I feel like I've seen the most of this type. Many people don't hide the fact that they are aiming for viral content. Cats are just so adorable.

・American Shorthair owners

There seemed to be relatively more cat lovers. I felt that they used hashtags less frequently. Impressive photos focused on cats in their natural surroundings, rather than staged shots. Cats are just so adorable.

・British Shorthair owners

Similar to Scottish Shorthair owners. Cats are just so adorable.

・Persian cat owners

I thought there were many Persian cats living in luxurious houses. I felt that by investigating the relationship between the number of cats kept and the income on Instagram, one could become a cat Instagrammer in an area with no competition. (I felt smart when I thought about this.)

・Munchkin owners

:Similar to Scottish Shorthair owners. Cats are adorable.

Conclusion

All cats are cute. However, humans are not cute.
Through this analysis, I learned that humans being too forward is not a good thing. In the next note, I would like to research and report on the trends on various SNS platforms and the methods of determining cat patterns and colors.
