When my granddaughter came to my home the other day, I was surprised that she had lots of hair. She is still only five months old. Nevertheless, she has thick, dark black hair for her age. When I see other babies on TV, I always look at their hair but I have never seen the babies who have more hair than she. Some of them look older than my granddaughter, but they have less hair.
Her hair also stands up all the time, like a Troll doll's hair. Her hair is black and not dyed, but it stands up like like that doll. According to my wife, it is typical for babies of the same age and will stop standing on end sooner or later. So I hope to enjoy her hair as long as possible. Once it stops standing on end, I will have no more chance of seeing it.
Her hair seems to come from her family. In other words, my daughter and her husband have a lot of black hair. It means that her hair comes from me. When I was young, I also had thick, dark black hair like her, and I used to have trouble fixing it. I also used to be told by barbers that my hair was so thick that it was hard to cut. So her hair, to some extent, must have come from me.
But my hair, which was once thick and dark black, has turned white and is not what used to be. Nevertheless, it still grows well and always gets long enough to be like a Monchichi doll's hair in two months. Then, I rush to my regular barber shop to get it cut. And now is exactly the time to get my hair cut. I have already made an appointment and I will rush to the shop tomorrow morning to get my hair cut as soon as it opens.

先日、孫娘が我が家に来たとき、髪の毛の多さにびっくりしました。まだ生後５カ月なのに、髪は真っ黒でふさふさしています。テレビで他の赤ちゃんを見ると、いつも髪の毛に目が行くのですが、孫ほど髪の毛が多い赤ちゃんを見たことがありません。孫より年上に見える子もいるのですが、髪の毛は少ないです。
また、孫の髪の毛はいつもトロール人形のように逆立っています。色は黒で、トロール人形のように染めてはいませんが、逆立っています。妻によると、この位の時期の赤ちゃんにはよくあることで、そのうち、逆立たなくなるそうです。だから、できるだけ長くこの髪を楽しみたいです。髪が立たなくなったら、もう二度と見られないのですから。孫の髪の毛は遺伝のようです。娘夫婦も髪の毛は多く、真っ黒です。つまり、孫の髪の毛はボクの影響なのです。ボクも、若い頃は、髪の毛は黒く、ふさふさとしていました。そのため、髪の毛を整えるのに苦労したものです。床屋さんにも、髪が多くて、切りにくいとよく言われたものです。だから、孫の髪の毛は、いくぶんかはボクの髪の毛の影響を受けているはずです。　
でも、真っ黒でふさふさだったボクの髪も、今では、真っ白になり、もはや以前の面影はありません。それでも、まだよく伸びます。2カ月もするとよく伸びて、モンチッチ人形の髪型のようになります。そうなると、お決まりの散髪屋さんに飛び込みます。そして、今がまさにその時で、すでに予約済みです。明日は、開店と同時に切ってもらうために、散髪屋さんに飛び込みます。
