Blueprint. It is an early plan or design to explain how something might be achieved. These days, it is not so difficult to make a blueprint for a product and a system. This is due to the progress in computer technology. It helps a lot to design and develop something like a product. It will only tell us an optimum solution if we enter what we need to know. In particular, it is AI technology that is changing and improving our lives significantly. It gives us a lot of choices beyond our imagination and helps a lot to develop something new. It also saves our time and makes our lives easy. If it evolves appropriately, it will give us a new world we have only dreamed of.
However, it is not, and will not be, easy to create a blueprint for our own lives. Our lives are not machines or systems but are like something illogical and unpredictable. No one can predict what will happen a second later. What is worse, it is getting harder and harder to create the blueprint as our society is getting more diversified and globalized. In particular, it is getting harder and harder for business people to make such a blueprint for their lives these days. In the days when business people worked very hard like warriors, it was much easier to create such a plan because they could see what to do to succeed or survive in their company. But today, they cannot see what they have to do. No matter what they do internally, sometimes, their company may be forced to change drastically or may not be able to survive. So, a blueprint of our lives seems to be of no value.

でも、人の人生の青写真を描くのは簡単ではありませんし、そうなりそうにありません。 人生は、機械やシステムではなく、非論理的で予測不可能なものです。 したがって、1秒後に何が起こるかを誰も予測できません。 さらに悪いことに、社会の多様化、グローバル化が進むにつれて、人生の青写真を描くことはますます難しくなっています。 特に最近のビジネスマンにとって、自分の人生の青写真を描くのは非常に困難になっています。 ビジネスマンが戦士のように猛烈に働いていた時代は、会社で成功する、あるいは生き残るために何をすべきかが分かるため、青写真を描き易かったです。でも現在では、それを見通せません。社内で何をしていても、場合によっては会社自体が大幅な変革を余儀なくされたり、存続できなくなったりすることがあります。 したがって、人生の青写真を描くことに意味がないように思えます。
