I have studied the first part of trigonometry on my own. It was very difficult, as I expected. I hit the wall right from the start. I was unable to understand what was in the textbook well. I needed at least two days to understand a page and a few more days to solve the questions. There are still seven subsections to work on, and they become more and more difficult. I do not know how long I need to finish the section, but at least a month. I will move on step by step as it is what I am now made of.
Since I began to study maths, I noticed that I needed some imagination to study maths. When I hit a wall while I study maths, I use my imagination to find a solution. I use it to find other ways to solve questions sometimes. And sometimes, I use it to find tools other than the textbook to find a solution. Now is exactly the time to use my imagination. I will need it more than ever. I will not be able to get through this section without my imagination.

三角関数の最初の部分を勉強しました。予想通り、とても難しかったです。最初から壁にぶち当たりました。教科書に書いてあることがよく理解できなかったのです。１ページを理解するのに少なくとも2日、問題を解くのにさらに数日必要でした。まだ7節も残っています。そして、どんどん難しくなります。三角関数の章を終えるのにどれくらいの時間がかかるかわかりません。少なくとも1カ月はかかりそうです。それが今の実力なので、一歩一歩進みます。
数学の勉強を始めてから、数学の勉強には想像力が必要だと思うようになりました。数学の勉強中に壁にぶつかると、解を見出すために想像力を働かせてます。問題を解く際に、別の方法を見つけるために使うこともあれば、解を見つけるために教科書以外の道具を探すために使うこともあります。今はまさにこの想像力を使う時です。これが、いままで以上に必要になります。想像力がなければ、この章を乗り切ることはできません。
