Today’s drama class had bad atmosphere. A student had been nervous. She couldn’t to act anymore.

I think acting in foreign language is so difficult. He/she have not only to act the character also to speak in correct pronunciations. In addition, speaking speeds are different belong to English skills. These situations make her or him nervous.

My teacher and I (we are production team) have to redesign the character to except her anxiety.

There is not important to speaks fast as her character. I think the most important thing is telling to audiences for some information about this mystery. For example we should to redesign her character as an old gentleman who speaks slowly.

And in my opinion, actor or actress should not think to be a character. Because they will have some anxieties for difference between characters and them. They should think themselves I am just a screen that was projected character like films. If you attempt to imitate the character, you feel anxiety and embarrassment .
