藤井 風 海外風活日記 第12話

今までTwitter でアップさせて頂いていた海外風活日記ですが、今度からnote で更新させて頂こうと思います。

今日、東京の同僚の、韓国人、KPOP好き日本人、フィリピン人、の人達と食事をしていて音楽談義になり、フィリピンの人に「フィリピンで好きなアーティストとか、とても有名な人っているの？」って聴いたら「あんまりいないなぁ、国内では人気でも国外でも広く人気のある人ってあんまりいないのよ」とのこと。すると彼女が「日本人で国際的に有名なミュージシャンっているの？」と聞いてきたので、これはもしかして「推し活しなさい」ということかしら？、と思い、心の中は熱く、でも表面は平常を装って「いるよ、藤井風！」と言ったら「ふーん？」という反応　笑　「ちょっと待って！皆さん日本で随分長いこと暮らしてるのに風さんを知らないの？(エスプレッソの心の中の声)」

あー自分の好きなアーティスト推してるのね、分かった分かった的な対応に「贔屓目じゃないのよ、本当なんだってば (再度、エスプレッソの心の中の声)」

ファン目線で言ってる訳ではないと証明するために「73カ国でバイラルチャート入りしたアジア発のソロミュージシャンは BTS のJungkook と藤井 風の2人しかいない」と言ってみたんだけど、チャートに興味のない子達だったみたいで「？」な表情。あーツボが違ったらしい。数字の話ではなく、「こんなに心救われたアーティストはいない」みたいな話をした方が良かったのか、、、それとも「唯一無二の音楽性」みたいな楽曲にフォーカスした話が正解だったか、、？
思いっきり推しどころを間違った感　笑　なんだか風活久々に外した感満載の夜。相変わらず推すのが下手で向いてないなぁ 笑　

4人で共感できたのは「NewJeans」って良いよね、という点だけでした　笑

#KazeDiary Episode 12

Today, my colleagues and I (with my colleagues in Tokyo, a Korean, a KPOP-loving Japanese and a Filipino) had a fun music talk over the dinner in Tokyo. I asked the Filipino colleague “Are there any artists you like in the Philippines or any Filipino artist who is very famous? “ She replied, "Not really. There are many artists who are popular in the country but normally not widely popular outside of the country either”. She then asked me, "Are there any Japanese musicians who are famous internationally?
I thought to myself, "I was waiting for that question! perfect timing to share about #Fujiikaze "?
I said “Yes. #FujiiKaze !" but the response was “is that right?”
"Wait a minute! You've been living in Japan for a long time and you don't know Kaze? (espresso voice in my mind).

I thought “I'm not being preferential, it's the truth!”

To prove that I wasn't talking from a fan's point of view, I told them that "#Jungkook and Fujii Kaze are the only two solo musicians from Asia who have made an entry to Spotify Viral chart in 73 countries", but they didn't seem to be impressed by the record. Obviously they were not much interested in the music charts. Ah, I chose the wrong point to share about him. I should have said something like "No artist has ever saved my soul so much" or “One and only unique musicality”, instead of talking about numbers. I'm still not very good at promoting my fav artist. 😂

The only thing the four of us could agree on was that "#NewJeans" is good.
