Foundation Series

Since I was in elementary school, I was enthusiastic about Star Trek's original series. At the time, the title of Star Trek was "Outer Space Mission”.
The conversation between Captain Kirk, Dr. McCoy and Spock was especially interesting. I watched TV so many times that I could remember the story.
When I got out of school and got a job, I had time to spare on my days off. I always dropped in at a bookstore on my way home from work.
There I found a magazine that featured something like the all-time best of science fiction novels.
Isaac Asimov's Foundation Series was listed as the number one all-time best. I remember it was around 1990. I immediately read "Foundation", "Foundation and Empire", and "Second Foundation" from Hayakawa Bunko. I read three books at once. I was particularly interested in the mystery of the Second Foundation.
After reading "Second Foundation", there was a sequel "Foundation’s Edge" in the science fiction corner of the bookstore. I also read this crazy.
After that, I read on to "Foundation and the Earth," "Prelude to Foundation," and "Forward the Foundation."
I was absorbed in reading.
