今回のこのごまめファンクラブの企画は河野太郎さん本人の許可を特別にいただいて実現した企画です。高校生が辞書と英文法の知識を最大限絞り出して書いたもので、英語的におかしい部分もあるかもしれませんが力作となっていますのでぜひ温かい目で最後までお読みください。最後には二人の感想を綴っております。そちらもどうぞよろしくお願いします

英訳文

By the order of Puthin, Russian troops started invading Ukrainien and many people are killed.

Only Russia,especially Puthin,is responsible for this situation.
Why didn't we stop his runaway ?

Some people say that the proclaim by Biden that US military officials will never be dispatched leaded Puthin to decide this invading ,judging from the week stance of the US.
It is true that if president Biden implied the possibility of dispatching US troops, the
decision would be much harder for Puthin .

However,the period that US plays WORLD POLICE role has already ended.
In the US,Americans support the economic sanctions against Russia but don't agree with dispatching US military.

We live the era when we cannot ask only US government to bear the burden.

It is easy to criticize president Biden,but the question of what Japan should do conflicted itself.

"Because we have Article 9 of Japanese Constitution,we won't be able to take military action.So please maintain world peace by yourself instead of us." This comment will be criticized for being too selfish.

As long as Russia and China sit on the UN Security Council as a permanent member with the veto power,we will be unable to set UN military in the future.

Why don't we make the framework to maintain peace by providing military forces from the countries with universal principals?

If so,would Japan restore our Constitution and participate this framework?

China silently observe this invasion in Ukrine .

If China invaded Taiwan,how the world would respond to such situation?

They ascertain the world reactions ,how the US,Japan and Europe would respond to it? and what kind of economic sanctions would they impose? how much these sanctions would affect to world economy？

Under such situation,would US as well as European countries make action？

Can we ask them more action for us than all Japan can do for Ukrine today ? and will they respond ?

Puthin started to flash nuclear weapons may be the reason why Russia doesn't operate their invasion as they projected.

This is tremendously dangerous situation.

However we don't have any valid treatment.

As nuclear weapons whicn we originally mustn't use them become often used for threats,Kim Zyongwon will think what he should depends on is surely nuclear powers.And it may result in new born dictatorships which start to development of nuclear weapons.

Just before NPT Review Conference,this accident had an great effect on nuclear non-proliferatation regime.

Pnthin aims at setting up a puppet goverment in Ukrine and stationing Russian troops.
Puthin may beleave Belarusi and Ukrine have to be his henchmans.

He might think since Ukrine have made action self centeredly and he should punish Ukrine.

Becauseof the promotion by Abe former prime minister,Japan and Russia have tried to accelerate negotiations for Treaty of Peace and Friendship between Japan and Russia.

Unfortunately,the runaway of Puthin this time ruined this negotiations.

We shouldn't relax the economic sanctions for reasons of having negotiations for the Treaty.

The economic sanctions will affect not only Puthin and his government officers but also many Russian.

Many invading Russian troops also have numerous victims.

In Russia ,They will face increasing criticisms for Puthin.

As they are dictatorships,they already started to suppress such criticisms in the country.

If brave Ukrines continue to resist, the feeling of war-weariness in Russia will spread and it will be hard to run his government administration.

The progress depends on,
how long Ukrainien will be able to continue resist ,how much the international countries will be able to unite and support Ukraine without fear,how long virtuous Russian people will continue to claim to the war,and how long the loyalty of officials around Puthin
to him will last.

以上で英訳を終わりにしたいと思います。河野さんの書いた親しみやすい文体を英語に訳すのに苦労した部分もありますが、なんとか仕上げることが出来ました。

まず、ロシアのウクライナ侵攻に際して多くのウクライナ国民の犠牲者と損害が出ていることについて心より哀悼の意を示します。
大陸の中央に位置するランドパワー国家のダイナミズムがこれほどまで大規模の犠牲や世界への経済的、政治的混乱を生み出すことは、政治に関心を持ち、河野太郎という政治家をきっかけに国際情勢しいては地政学に関心のあるものとして心に強く刻まなければならないと思いました。
今回のごまめの歯ぎしりにおいて、河野氏は世界の平和と安定に日本がどのように貢献にしていくべきか問題提起をしています。自立した大国として激動の国際社会において何らか責任を果たすのは当然の義務です。
多くの人々に期待を寄せられる河野太郎氏には今後の日本の国際平和の維持に向けた歩むべき道を邁進する一助となって欲しい。応援しています。

I would like to express my sincere condolences for the loss of life and damage to many Ukrainian citizens during Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
That the dynamism of a land-power state in the middle of a continent can create such massive casualties and economic and political turmoil in the world must be deeply engraved in the minds of us with an interest in politics and, in the wake of Taro Kono, in international affairs and geopolitics.
In his latest blog, Gomame no Hagishiri , Mr Kono raises the question of how Japan should contribute to world peace and stability. As an independent superpower, it is our natural duty to fulfil our responsibilities in the turbulent international community.
I hope that Mr Taro Kono, who has the expectations of many people, will help Japan to push forward on its path towards maintaining international peace in the future. I support him very much.
