Today I took care of the garlic in my charge. I thinned them out where more than two plants are growing together, and cut off any dead brown leaves.
今日は担当のニンニクの世話をいたしました。数本同じマルチの穴から生えている場合は間引きしました。葉の枯れた茶色い部分を切り取りました。

When thinning, cut off the growing point rather than pulling it out so that there is less negative impact on the remaining plant from the eliminated plants.
間引きの時は、引き抜くのではなく、成長点から切り取ります。そうすることで、引き抜くことによる、残す方の植物への悪影響を減らすことができます。

Despite the sunny weather, the wind was so chilly, so the simple tasks made my body cold.
晴れているにもかかわらず、昨日雪が降っただけあって、風がとても冷たくて、とても身体が冷えました。

After that, other members and I pulled out broccolis after harvest. Pulling broccolis is one of my favorite tasks. 
そのあとは、ブロッコリ畑の収穫後のブロッコリを他の方々と一緒に抜きました。ブロッコリを抜くのは、実は私の大好きな作業の一つです（笑）

Although strong winds scattered lots of pollen….,  I heard sales result today was quite good.
強い風で花粉がすごく飛んでいたようですが、今日はお野菜よく売れたと聞きました。
