It was sunny and quite warm… even hot today. Now is the seeding season. Some members were cultivating the soil and tilling the grass so that they could plant the corn next week. I had heard that last year all corn were eaten by civets, so I asked them what they were going to do about it. I asked them what they were going to do about it. They told me that they were preparing an electric fence. I wondered if such fence would be okay with the cat in the farm.
とても暖かい、むしろ暑いくらいの日でした。何人かが、トウモロコシの種をまくために、草を漉き込んで、耕していましたいました。昨年は、ほかのメンバーがハクビシンに全部食べられてしまったのを聞いていたので、どういう対策をするのかきいてみました。すると、電気柵を準備しているとのことでした。農家さんの飼い猫さんいるけど大丈夫かしら。

I cultivated new areas, continuing from the previous week.
今日の後半は、先々週に引き続き新しいエリアを耕して終了。少しだけ何か新しいもの植えてみたいです。一人の方がウコンをお勧めしてくださいました。

Actually, last Wednesday, my father in law passed away. His funeral is next week. My family members are very very busy, but I myself have nothing to do for him, so I decided to go to farm today.
先の水曜日義父がなくなりました。家族はとても忙しくしているけれど、事務手続きは息子である相方がやっているので、本日私に手伝えることはなく、葬儀は来週なので、ちょっと作業をしました。悲しい気持ちも少し癒される畑の風景。
