一月の京都
お正月のお茶菓子に何かおいしいものを、とデパートの名店街をうろうろしていてふと「その味」を思い出しました。
約30年前（20世紀末）家の近くの老舗京菓子店の製造所でアルバイトをしていたことがありました。こういうバイトは京都ならではか、と他の人と話してて気付きました。
バイト特権（！）で、お店に並ぶ前の作り立てを購入することもできました。できたての美味しさといったら、、、もうそれはたまりません。

　元旦の令和６年能登半島地震で被災されました皆様に心よりお見舞い申し上げます。

January in Kyoto 2024
While wandering among the several renowned confectionery shops lined up in the department store's food floor (depachika) in search of something delicious for New Year's tea sweets, I suddenly recalled 'that flavor.'
About 30 years ago, around the end of the 20th century, I had a part-time job at the manufacturing facility of a long-established Kyoto confectionery shop near my home. Talking with others, I realized that this kind of job is unique to Kyoto.
Thanks to the advantages of the part-time job, I could even purchase the freshly made confections before they were displayed in the store. The freshness of those just-made treats was beyond the words.

I would like to express my deepest sympathies to everyone affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake on New Year's Day in the sixth year of Reiwa.
