このようにして、ひょうひょうとして、半分ボケたひとが生まれました。

できるだけ少ないひとと、うすくつきあいました。

腹が立つことがあればすぐに言い返し、

言い返すチャンスがない時は、

頭の中で言い返すところを思い浮かべてスッキリしました。

爪をかみながら、

ルークはついに、平和を取り戻したのです。

This way, a forgetful person who looked aloof from the world was born.

Luke tried to have shallow relationships with as few people as possible.

When someone made him angry, he immediately retorted.

When he didn't have a chance to say it back,

he imagined himself talking the person down, which cleared his mind.

While biting his nails, Luke finally found peace.

「いま、ワオの国のゆうえんちが来ているんだって！あそびに行こうよ。」ある日、クラスメートがルークをさそってくれました。

それは、みんなが一度は絶対に行きたいと思っている有名なゆうえんちでした。「ほんと？ありがとう！」

クラスメートの知り合いの、ワオの国から来た家族といっしょに行きました。

ゆうえんちに入るなり、ルークはビックリしました。

（ええええええ！　ワオの国のキャラクターが、ワオ語であいさつしてる！本物だったんだ！）

だれかが中に入っていると思っていたキャラクターは、みんな本物でした。

よく見ると、表情が変わるキャラクターもいます。

（ワオの国にはこんなにいろんなひとがいるんだ！鳥すらも、ことばをはなせるの？）

”Dream Amusement Park" from the Wow country is coming to our town. Let's go play."

One day, Luke's classmate invited him to come along.

（Really??　Thank you!)

It was a famous amusement park everyone wanted to visit at least once.

They went there with a family from the Wow country who were friends of his classmate.

Entering the amusement park, Luke was surprised.

"Wooooooooow!"

The characters in this land are greeting me in Wow language!

（They are real!)

Luke had thought that someone else was inside but realized nobody was inside.

Some of them even had an angry face or were laughing if looked closely.

(There are so many different people in the Wow country!

Can the birds speak too!?)

（あれっ？

かれらはボクの国のことばで話しているぞ？ワオ語はほんの少しだけじゃないか。どういうことなんだ？

ワオの国にあるゆうえんちは、いまお休みなのかな。それにしても、ボクの国のことばが話せるなんて、すごいな！）

ルークは目をキラキラさせながら、いっしょに来たワオの国のおねえさんに、つたないワオ語で話しかけました。

「ことばが話せるんだね！」

おねえさんは、にこっとルークに向かってほほえみました。

(Huh?

They speak only a little Wow langugage and the rest is in my language. What's going on?

Maybe the amusement park in Wow Country is closed right now. Either way, it's unbelievable they can speak languages!)

Luke's eyes sparkled.　He wanted to tell someone how he felt, so he spoke in simple Wow language to the woman from Wow Country who had come with him.

"They can speak languages!"

The woman smiled happily at him.
