川崎大師の境内には大本堂をはじめ数々の祈りの場がある。
その一つが高くそびえる「八角五重塔」、そして「降魔成道釈迦如来像」や「祈りと平和像」などで、その前に立つと自然に手があわさる。

There are many places of prayer in the precincts of Kawasaki Daishi, including the main hall. One of them is the towering "octagonal five-storied pagoda", and the "Shaka Nyorai statue" and "Prayer and Peace Statue".

八角五重塔は、普通の五重塔よりも美しく見える。通常の五重塔は四角仏塔の基本形で五重の屋根を持つ。下から地（基礎）、水（塔身）、火（笠）、風（請花）、空（宝珠）からなるもので、それぞれが5つの世界（五大思想）を示し、仏教的な宇宙観を表していると言われている。
川崎大師の八角五重塔の初層には、金剛界五智如来尊像である大日如来、阿閦如来、宝生如来、無量寿如来、不空成就如来が安置され、その周りに真言八祖尊影が飾られている。

The octagonal five-storied pagoda looks more beautiful than a normal five-storied pagoda. A normal five-storied pagoda is the basic form of a square pagoda and has a five-storied roof. From the bottom, it consists of the earth, water, fire, wind, and sky, each of which represents five worlds (five major ideas) and is a Buddhist view of the universe.
In the first layer of the octagonal five-storied pagoda of Kawasaki Daishi, the statues of the Kongokai Gochi Nyorai, Dainichi Nyorai, Aksha Nyorai, Hosho Nyorai, Muryoju Nyorai, and Fukujyoju Nyorai are enshrined, and the Shingon Haso Sonei is displayed around them.

また43年前に開創850年記念し、つるの池に隣接する広場に造顕された降魔成道釈迦如来像(ごうまじょうどうしゃかにょらいぞう)は、少々難しい名前が付いているが釈迦如来像である。この釈迦如来像を見てわかるように左手を丹田の前に置き、右手を膝下から大地を指す形をとっている。この姿を「降魔成道」という。通常よく見る釈迦如来像の印相とは違う。降魔印という印相である。それによりこのような名前がついているようだ。胎内にはインドからの「真身仏舎利」が奉安されている。

Also, 43 years ago, in commemoration of the 850th anniversary of the founding, the statue of Shaka Nyorai, which was revealed in the square adjacent to the Tsuru no Ike, has a slightly difficult name, but Shaka Nyorai. It is a statue of Nyorai. 

As you can see from this statue of Shaka Nyorai, the left hand is placed in front of Tanden, and the right hand is pointing from below the knee to the ground.
This figure is called "Gomajyodo". It is different from the seal of the Shaka Nyorai statue that you usually see. It is a seal called the Goma Seal. It seems that it has such a name. In the womb, a "genuine Buddhist temple" from India is enshrined.

そして、弘法大師１１５０年遠忌を記念し建立された、寺院ではちょっと珍しい「祈りと平和」像がある。像の中央には光臨した観音様をモチーフにした女神を、周囲は、釈迦が最初に説法を行った所鹿野苑(ろくやおん)をイメージし、楽器を奏でる金色に輝く天女たちが配置されている。中央の女神が「祈り」、周囲の天女が「平和」を表している。

And there is a statue of "Prayer and Peace", which is a little rare in the temple, which was built to commemorate the 1150th anniversary of Kobo Daishi. In the center of the statue is a goddess with the motif of the shining Kannon, and in the surroundings, the golden celestial maidens playing musical instruments are arranged in the image of Rokuyaon, the place where Buddha first preached.
There is the goddess in the center represents "prayer," and the surrounding celestial maidens represent "peace."

境内にある、つるの池に掛かる朱色の「やすらぎ橋」がインスタ映えスポットになっている。 朱色は、災難を除き、幸福を招くといわれているので、訪れた参拝者に人気のようである。

The vermilion "Yasuragi Bridge" over the vine pond in the precincts is an Instagram-worthy spot. Vermilion seems to be popular with visiting worshipers because it is said to bring happiness except for disasters.
