昨日、久しぶりに人の集まるところにお邪魔した。
先日来、能楽師 林本大氏をYouTube「アスライトチャンネル」で紹介するための取材を行っている。その時に、林本氏から日本の伝統芸能の若手演者のグループ「霜乃会(そうのかい)」の年一回の講演の案内をいただいた。

Yesterday, I visited a place where people gathered for the first time in a long time.
The other day, I have been interviewing Noh performer Dai Hayashimoto to introduce him on YouTube "Aslite Channel". At that time, Mr. Hayashimoto introduced us to an annual performance by a group of young performers of traditional Japanese performing arts, "Sonokai".

その講演を昨日、大阪梅田のHEP HALLに観に行ってきた。霜乃会は「和の魅力、個の魅力が織りなす新感覚エンターテイメント」というキャッチフレーズで活動を行っている。
伝統芸能を伝承していくために、異なる分野の若手演者が集まり、古典芸能の魅力を新しい感覚で伝えている。

I went to see the performance at HEP HALL in Umeda, Osaka yesterday. Sonokai is active with the catchphrase "a new sense of entertainment that combines the charm of Japanese and the charm of individuals."
In order to hand down traditional performing arts, young performers from different fields gather to convey the charm of classical performing arts with a new sense.

霜乃会は、講談の旭堂南龍氏をはじめ、能楽の林本大氏・今井哲朗氏(共にシテ方)、浪曲の京山幸太氏、文楽浄瑠璃の竹本碩太夫氏(文楽大夫)、鶴澤燕二郎氏(文楽三味線方)、落語の桂紋四郎、そして茶道の松井宗豊氏の面々。

Sonokai includes Mr. Nanryu Kyokudo of the Kodan, Mr. Dai Hayashimoto and Mr. Tetsuro Imai of Nogaku (both are shite), Mr. Kota Kyoyama of Rokyoku, Mr. Hirotaro Takemoto (Bunraku Dayu), Mr. Enjiro Tsuruzawa (Bunraku Shamisen) of Bunraku Joruri, Mr. Monshiro Katsura of Rakugo, and Mr. Soho Matsui of the Sado.

個性豊かなそれぞれの演者の技能を一堂に観ることができるのは、まさにエンターテイメントである。演じる側もそれぞれの刺激を享受し、そして観る側の興味がそれによってさらに増幅されていくような感覚になった。
日本の伝統芸能をけん引していく団体として霜乃会の役割は大きい。また、それぞれがそれぞれの分野で日本を代表する古典芸能の伝承者として活躍していただきたいものである。

It is entertainment that you can see the skills of each performer with a lot of individuality. The performer also enjoyed each stimulus, and it became a feeling that the viewer's interest was further amplified by it.
Sonokai plays a major role as an organization that drives traditional Japanese performing arts. In addition, I would like each of them to play an active role as a successor of classical performing arts that represent Japan in their respective fields.
